LONG BEACH — The annual Ron Massey Fall Hoops Classic at McBride high school featured many of SoCal's top high school programs and prospects. The two-day event provided a platform for high level competition as teams begin their tune-ups for the regular season. Below we take a look at the best shooters we saw.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956520' first='Brayden' last='Kyman'] | 2026 | Santa Margarita (CA)

Kyman had his pick-and-pop repertoire on full display in an overtime win over Bishop Montgomery. The 6-foot-8 forward poses mismatch problems for opposing defenses at the high school level because of his ability to stretch the floor to the three-point line off the catch and off the move in pick and pop situations. Kyman knocked down four three-pointers for the Eagles in Saturday's win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1630629' first='Isaac' last='Williamson'] | 2025 | Roosevelt (CA)

Williamson was dumbfounded by the fact CIA Bella Vista's Grind Session team wasn't closing his space on the three-point line. The 6-foot-2 combo guard responded to those open looks by knocking down seven of his 11 shots from deep. Williamson is one of the most lethal shooters out west because of his range, quick release and ability to get hot in a hurry.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956507' first='Luke' last='Barnett'] | 2026 | Mater Dei (CA)

Barnett, like Williamson above, is a pure shooter with deep range, a quick release and the confidence to pull from just about anywhere at any time. The 6-foot-3 off-guard went 13-for-28 from three-point range on the weekend, while averaging 29 points per game over the course of three games. Barnett is one of the best shooters we've seen in SoCal in quite some time.

[player_tooltip player_id='2211004' first='Rokiem' last='Green'] | 2026 | CIA Bella Vista (AZ)

Green was nearly perfect from behind-the-arc in Bella Vista's opening win Saturday over Belmont Shore. The 6-foot-2 shooting guard went 7-for-9 from deep and finished with a team high 23 points. Green has your prototypical pure shooters mechanics and smooth release which results in him shooting an effortless ball with unlimited range.

[player_tooltip player_id='2551870' first='Spencer' last='Ahrens'] | 2025 | CIA Bella Vista (AZ)

Ahrens' game is very similar to Kyman's in that he is a tough cover at the high school level because of his ability to stretch the floor to the three-point line. The 6-foot-8 forward proved to be a threat in trail action where he hit spot-up threes from the top of the key. He also showed pick-and-pop consistency and the ability to spot up in the corner and knock down shots off of drive-and-kick passes from teammates.
