The 6-4 sophomore guard continues to shine as he is one of the top perimeter shooters in the Southern California area. Barnett finished with 15 points, on 6-of-11 shooting from the field including knocking down three 3-pointers in the win over Windermere Prep. Barnett has displayed a ton of confidence in his game where his upside continues to grow. He has a strong understanding for the game as he currently holds an offer from the University of Washington. Barnett has good intangibles to be a real deal college prospect as his IQ continues to develop and his game progesses.

Luke shot the ball tremendously effectively from 3 on Saturday as Mater Dei beat Mira Costa. Barnett showed off his very quick release, his ability to move intelligently without the ball, and perhaps most importantly, the athleticism and body control to square his body up to the basket before shooting after running at full speed.
