Prep Hoops Missouri spent its Sunday afternoon at Cardinal Ritter College Prep for the first day of the Ramey Basketball Fall League, which is presented by Terrell Ramey. We saw some very impressive incoming freshman on Sunday. Here is a look at a few of them that caught our eye.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194999' first='Miles' last='Simpson'] (Webster Groves): The talented 6'5" wing picked up a scholarship offer from Mizzou last week and he showed why he was worthy of his Power 5 offer with some impressive offensive exploits on Sunday. He showed some creative handles in the open court along with some three-level scoring ability. He was knocking down mid-range jumpers off the dribble and pulling up for 3-pointers. He is a very skilled and potent scorer, but he is also very unselfish with good court vision. He was zipping some nice passes to open teammates for easy baskets.

Mamadou Djan Barry (Vianney): A 7'1" center who had a big impact on the game at both ends of the court. He has length and good mobility to run the court. He catches the ball and finished around the basket well, including a nice move for a reverse layup. He also stepped out to hit a 15 footer. He was also coming over from the weak side to block shots. We look forward to watching him progress over the course of the season.

Deandre Stewart (Whitfield): A 5'9" point guard who has good quickness and who plays with a lot of tenacity at both ends of the court. He is high energy. He was fearless on his drives to the basket and he was able to finish in traffic amongst the taller players in the paint. He also elevated well when he pulled up for the mid-range jumper.

Dallas Owens (Cardinal Ritter): A thick-bodied 5'9" guard who was one of the more impressive perimeter shooters that I watched during the day. He was getting to the right spots and knocking down triples off the catch. His fundamentals were very good as he didn't look to force things. He also handled the ball well as defenders were bouncing off of him.

Norman Hill Jr. (St. Charles West): A 5'9" point guard who is a good on-ball defender. He is strong and stayed low and moved his feet well. He liked to push the tempo whenever he got the ball and he attacked well on dribble penetration.

[player_tooltip player_id='2503734' first='Alex' last='Wise'] (Francis Howell): A 6'2" guard who plays well because he always stays within himself. He makes open perimeter shots and he moves the ball well and makes the right pass. He plays a very sound game and he doesn't force things.
