[player_tooltip player_id='2553716' first='Xavier' last='Goode'] was the clear alpha dog of Team 3, and one of the best players overall at the Expo. His shiftiness, stop-and-start game, and general quickness were very effective at getting to the rack. He also was scoring in creative ways, as his bag consisted of fadeaway middies, floaters, and euro steps in transition. The ball was moving too when he was running the point, making high IQ reads to cutters and keeping the offense flowing with quick decisions. Defensively, he was competing hard and getting into the teeth of opposing ball handlers. His motor never waned, which caused his coach to rarely remove him from the game! It was a scintillating outing, which in turn made Goode one of the standouts.

Brendan Fracassa was the youngest player competing at the event, as he was the only seventh grader who participated. This fact made his outstanding performance shocking considering he was playing against players 5-6 years older than him. He was not rattled at all and looked completely composed throughout the duration of the Expo. He made great passes with the ball in his hands, finding open teammates on his drives in the half-court. The diverse scoring he provided such as catch-and-shoot threes, step-back middies, and layups out in transition gave Team 3 a huge lead and the opponents couldn't figure him out. Additionally, he was laying out his body and making steals in the passing lanes. Fracassa has a bright future ahead of him with youth and time on his side.

[player_tooltip player_id='2478937' first='Paul' last='Comba'] had a good day playing solid all-around winning basketball. With his blazing-quick speed, he was getting in transition and finishing at the rim with ease. He made the right reads with the ball, and the right decisions off the ball by finding open spots to knock down catch and shoot three balls. His speed and effort also translated on the defensive side and created turnovers which resulted in points in the other direction. Comba kept his game simple, which led to a productive afternoon on the hardwood.

[player_tooltip player_id='1532489' first='Jamel' last='Walker'] and his overall energy and tough demeanor were evident, which impacted his games in positive ways. He was soaring through the air, jumping over everyone and bringing down every contested rebound imaginable. He was playing hard and intense defense, making steals and creating havoc whenever possible. He would also make his own offense from the turnovers he created, attacking the cup with an open lane ahead of him. Walker never stopped running around and that must be respected as he very much was the glue guy Team 3 needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568326' first='Xavier' last='Sanchez'] showcased his on-ball guard skills that continue to make him a very intriguing prospect to follow. He was getting by defenders in the pick-and-roll, and getting to the basket. He showed off his mid-range jumper and was getting out on the open floor without the ball to get easy scores. He pulled off a no-look pass to the corner which was fun and defensively was doing his job, sticking close to his designated man throughout the event. Sanchez's potential was easy to see and remains tantalizing.
