Nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops. We've been able to flex our muscles here in the month of September hosting three outstanding events featuring well over 300 prospects from across the Hoosier state. First, it was our annual Freshman Showcase and newly formed Sophomore ID Camp that we hosted back on Sunday, September 8th. Both events were a massive success. Then, on Sunday, September 22nd we hosted "The Expo" which featured juniors and seniors looking to gain exposure in front of college coaches. As always, our scouting staff will be releasing team-by-team evaluations highlighting every single prospect in attendance. However, first, let's take a look at some of the top individual performers from "The Expo."

College coaches do not want to miss the boat on this super athletic guard entering his senior season at Gary West Side High School. Collins has excellent positional size and length that he pairs with an impressive, well-rounded skill set. The 6'3"-6'4" guard dominated offensively at The Expo showcasing his passing ability in the open floor along with what he can do as a scorer. Whether it was a pull-up jump shot, an athletic finish at the rim, or a pass ahead in transition Collins was consistently impactful with the ball in his hands.

It isn't often that we cover an event like this and truly discover a new prospect. While I had seen Harvey a couple of times over the summer and was intrigued, he really broke out on Sunday evening at The Expo. Ben Davis already has one of the best front courts in the state, but the 6'8" Harvey is ready to make an impact while adding some depth as a junior. He plays with an outstanding motor which allowed him to dominate on the rim run and on the offensive glass throughout the event. Harvey consistently finished with two hands above the rim and showed that he can score with either hand on the block. High-upside, under-the-radar prospect.

The highest ranked prospect that we had at The Expo on Sunday, McGrew certainly showed why he is considered a Top 10 prospect in the Class of 2026. McGrew was able to physically dominate the competition with his 6'8" frame and impressive bounciness around the rim. There also aren't many players with McGrew's size and build that can run the floor and move as fluidly as he does. He was at this best on Sunday running the floor and finishing transition or when cleaning the offensive glass. It is surprising that no Division I schools have pulled the trigger yet on offering the Lawrence North High School big man.

Moore was a walk-up registrant for The Expo and took the event by storm. The dynamic playmaker from Kokomo High School displayed his next-level athleticism in every way imaginable. Whether he was crossing up a defender to get into the paint, exploding at the end of a drive to finish at the rim, or hawking the ball handler defensively, Moore constantly active and making his presence felt. Replacing Mr. Basketball and a second Indiana All-Star won't be easy, but the Wildkats could be well served by asking Moore to step into more of a primary role.

Sloss came on strong at the end of the summer on the Prep Hoops Circuit and has continued his strong play into the fall. That was certainly true on Sunday at The Expo where the versatile 6'6"-6'7" forward at his full repertoire of skills on display. He uses his size around the basket to punish smaller defenders while his quickness and fluidity with the ball makes it harder for liked-sized defenders to match up on the perimeter. Small college programs should continue to line up for this Brownsburg High School product.

A second standout from the Lawrence North junior class at The Expo, Thomas continues to put himself on the radar of Division I programs. The 6'4"-6'5" wing is poised for a breakout junior season as one of the most athletically gifted two-way perimeter prospects in the Class of 2026. Thomas handles the ball well enough to create some, but really shines in transition and when attacking closeouts in a straight line downhill. Then, defensively, Thomas has as much upside as any perimeter defender in the class. He was able to consistently dominate in the open floor on Sunday evening.
