Nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops. We flexed those muscles on Sunday as we welcomed in 150+ of the best freshmen in the state for our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. Then, we hosted our inaugural Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp which featured 110+ prospects including half of our Top 25 ranked players. It was an outstanding turnout and a great pool of talent for our first time introducing the event. Over the next week or so our team of scouts at Prep Hoops Indiana will evaluating every player in attendance at both events. However, for now, let's begin by highlighting the top performers. On Sunday we highlighted six other top performers in Part One.

A physical, left-handed wing from North Central High School, Bellamy consistently scores it off of the dribble around the basket. He uses his size very well, isn't afraid to play through contact, and changes pace well to get where he wants to go. Once he gets into the paint, Bellamy is a very high percentage finishers especially when he can get to his left hand. He was his normal productive self on Sunday at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.

Dixon was one of the top scorers during five-on-five action at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Fresh off of a strong summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2076210' first='5Star' last='Basketball'] which included being named a top performer at a couple of Prep Hoops Circuit events, Dixon showed on Sunday that he is ready for a breakout sophomore season at South Bend Adams High School. The 6'0" guard can score it in bunches and was hot from beyond the arc in both of his games.

We've been very high on this Crown Point High School prospect since first seeing him early in the spring playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier']. He has gotten bigger since then now standing at a solid 6'2"+ and has gained strength as well. Kaegi is at his best as a shooter offensively with a smooth outside stroke and a nice mid-range pull-game. With his added size and physicality he has gotten even better finishing at the end of his drives as well. There is a lot of young talent at Crown Point right now, but Kaegi should start to factor into the equation this season. High upside prospect.

From the first time we say McKain at the Pocket City Fall League prior to his freshman season, we've been impressive with his athletic and physical tools. Now, the Boonville High School product has gotten even bigger and really shined at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Standing 6'3"-6'4", McKain really punished smaller defenders off of the dribble and finished consistently in the paint. A breakout sophomore season could be loading for McKain this winter.

From a statistical standpoint, the list of freshmen who had a better season last year than Tonagel would be very, very short. That will likely be true once against during his sophomore campaign as he is the cog of the machine at Oak Hill High School. Tonagel is an outstanding three-point shooter, but also does a great job as a playmaker off of the dribble. You can always trust him with the ball in his hands as he runs the show offensively from the lead guard spot. He was one of the more impressive point guards at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.

There will be a clear and obvious hole in the roster when Heritage Hills takes the floor this season. Losing four-star, Top 100 forward Trent Sisley to Montverde Academy will drastically change everything about this upcoming season. However, 6'6" forward/center [player_tooltip player_id='2140443' first='Tait' last='Wetzel'] looks ready to at least step into Sisley's shoes as a talented interior presence. He was excellent on Sunday at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp dominating consistently around the basket. Wetzel should have a big sophomore season coming up in the absence of Sisley.
