Nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops. We flexed those muscles on Sunday as we welcomed in 150+ of the best freshmen in the state for our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. Then, we hosted our inaugural Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp which featured 110+ prospects including half of our Top 25 ranked players. It was an outstanding turnout and a great pool of talent for our first time introducing the event. Over the next week or so our team of scouts at Prep Hoops Indiana will evaluating every player in attendance at both events. For this one, we look at Team 9.

***As you can imagine, trying to cover 110+ prospects in a single event is a very daunting task. Also, there always end up being a couple of jersey number discrepancies, so if you attended the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp and DID NOT receive an evaluation, please reach out to Brandon Ramsey via email coachbrandonramsey@gmail.com or on Twitter @BRamseyKSR.***

One of two South Bend Washington High School prospects on Team 9, Stuckey was consistently active at both ends of the floor. His hustle netted him some impressive defensive stops and allowed him to track down some rebounds despite being "just" 5'10" at the guard spot. Also, offensively, he knocked down a deep wing three-point shot in 5-on-5 playing showcasing a quick release and impressive range.

A thinner, 5'10" guard from Hammond Central High School, Alvarez was active during 3-on-3 action and then fit in very well to his team in a 5-on-5 setting. Early on in Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp he was active as a cutter in 3-on-3 play while that same off-ball movement translated to the half court in 5-on-5. His catch-and-shoot ability is always something that will be useful on the floor.

We were lucky enough to have a good number of our Top 25 ranked prospects in the Class of 2027 attend the inaugural Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Parker was among the higher rated players in the gym fresh off of a monster freshman season at South Bend Washington. His scoring ability has already made him a well-known name around the state and he is poised to breakout even further now as a sophomore. Parker is a big time shooter and all-around scorer.

With the amount of talent at Carmel High School it can sometimes take an extra year or two for all of the talented prospects to get on the radar. That is why events like the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp are so valuable. Nover is a perfect example of an intriguing prospect with a college future that is flying a bit under-the-radar currently. The 6'3" wing is a good catch-and-shoot threat with a smooth, repeatable release. Look for his well-rounded offensive skill set to shine in the coming years for the Greyhounds.

Day was one of the more impressive prospects at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp in terms of his physical and athletic tools. As I tweeted during the event, he is one to buy stock in heading into this season. The 6'3" wing from Brownsburg High School is excellent in transition with the ability to drive it from the throw ahead and play up above the rim at the end of his drives. He is very versatile as a perimeter defender as well. There is a lot to like about his upside.

Similar to what we said above about Day, this 6'4" Cathedral High School forward is a potential stock-riser coming out of the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Pippins is a physically dominant force with impressive size, length, and some explosive athleticism. Vertically it is hard to match what he can do at the end of his drives and up above the rim. He is another prospect that we tweeted about buying stock in during the event.

We had quite a bit of talented size at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp and this 6'8" center was as big as anyone in attendance. The Brownsburg center takes up a lot of room around the basket, gets good deep post position, and score with his right hand over his left shoulder. His rebounding ability and defensive instincts at the rim stood out as well. He will have a chance to crack the rotation at Brownsburg with his size.
