Nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops. We flexed those muscles on Sunday as we welcomed in 150+ of the best freshmen in the state for our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. Then, we hosted our inaugural Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp which featured 110+ prospects including half of our Top 25 ranked players. It was an outstanding turnout and a great pool of talent for our first time introducing the event. Over the next week or so our team of scouts at Prep Hoops Indiana will evaluating every player in attendance at both events. For this one, we look at Team 8.

***As you can imagine, trying to cover 110+ prospects in a single event is a very daunting task. Also, there always end up being a couple of jersey number discrepancies, so if you attended the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp and DID NOT receive an evaluation, please reach out to Brandon Ramsey via email coachbrandonramsey@gmail.com or on Twitter @BRamseyKSR.***

At around 6'0", Dixon was easily one of the more naturally athletic guards in the gym at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. He was really active getting in the lane to make plays while also being a willing defender on the other end of the floor. A true high volume scorer that put up big scoring numbers in five-on-five action, Dixon was one of the standouts at the sophomore camp over the weekend.

Roberston is a 6'1" sophomore guard out of Indian Creek High School that has a lot of lankiness to his frame and used that to his advantage on both ends of the floor. A true three-and-D type of player, Roberston played his role well as a spot up shooter while also working well on the defensive end. His game will still need some more fine-tuning, but it could breakout a little for Indiana Creek this season.

Foster is a thin, 6'0" shooting guard out of Benton Central High School that showed some solid fundamentals throughout the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. What stood out to me was how crafty he was around the rim and displayed a quick, strong first step in getting there. Overall, he was a really efficient guard that, once he adds some strength, could really take his game to the next level as a sophomore.

One of the top 2027 prospect in the gym at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp over the weekend was Park Tudor's own [player_tooltip player_id='2140369' first='Griffyn' last='Robisch']. At 6'6", Robisch impressed with his incredible versatility while being able to play both inside and out. Playing on the outside, he showed a smooth scoring touch and on the inside, he used his length, athleticism, and bounce to make plays in the post. He was a real matchup problem at times. Robisch has an extremely high upside.

Crippin was one of the rare out of state prospects that participated at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp this past weekend being from Gobles High School in Michigan. Listed at 5'7", Crippin was one of the physically smaller prospects in the gym, but really hustled up and down the floor. He will need to really work on adding some weight and strength to his frame, but he is a capable three-point scorer right now and the physical development will happen over time. The skill level is there when his body catches up.

Hoover is a 5'11" guard out of Triton Central High School that was one of the more "true" lead guards at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Although he is not the tallest, he does have a stronger frame for a young guard and pairs that well with a high IQ on the ball. I came away really impressed with his ball handling and playmaking capability in the backcourt. Under-the-radar prospect to watch.
