Nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops. We flexed those muscles on Sunday as we welcomed in 150+ of the best freshmen in the state for our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. Then, we hosted our inaugural Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp which featured 110+ prospects including half of our Top 25 ranked players. It was an outstanding turnout and a great pool of talent for our first time introducing the event. Over the next week or so our team of scouts at Prep Hoops Indiana will evaluating every player in attendance at both events. For this one, we look at Team 7.

***As you can imagine, trying to cover 110+ prospects in a single event is a very daunting task. Also, there always end up being a couple of jersey number discrepancies, so if you attended the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp and DID NOT receive an evaluation, please reach out to Brandon Ramsey via email coachbrandonramsey@gmail.com or on Twitter @BRamseyKSR.***

Perry is a quick lead guard from Indiana Creek High School. He played more like a true floor general during the time I got eyes on him as he showed off solid passing and displayed very good court vision. He also played hard on the defensive end of the floor, especially when it came to guarding on the ball. As with a lot of younger prospects, there will be some physical development to still take place with Perry, but some of the ball skill is certainly there.

Kobe came into the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp as one of the few players that already had valuable varsity experience. He is a 6'1" guard out of Portage high School that is one of the better off-ball shot creators that we saw on the day. His midrange game was money which looks to be his strength on the offense end. There have been a lot of Kobe's come through the northern Indiana basketball scene over the last several years and Karter looks to be next up out of the talented bunch.

Feese was one of the rare players that participated here at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp that actually came from another state. Feese is a 6'0" guard out of Adair County High School in Kentucky that has a strong, physical build. Offensively, he really goes at the defense and uses quickness with the ball in doing so. Attacking closeouts, scoring in transition, and slashing to the basket seem to be his strengths right now.

Williams was easily one of the more athletic wings in the gym over the weekend at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. He has a ton of bounce to his game and if he finds an open lane, he will use his athletic ability to make a play around the rim. For a wing, he showed really good court vision as well. Don't be surprised to see him find a role at North Central Central at some point down the road.

Modesitt is a 6'2" combo guard out of West Lafayette High School. He has a longer frame and is also very quick on the ball and makes a lot of good plays with the ball in his hands. His length is pretty impressive on the wing and he displays a smooth catch-and-shoot stroke when he gets an open look. Modest is a versatile player that will be a factor at the varsity level at West Lafayette.

Burkemper is a 6'5" prospect that is a versatile big man. He has a long frame that he uses very well in the paint to score over smaller defenders. His soft touch around the rim is impressive and he is not afraid to take his defender off the dribble and explode to the rim. There are several intriguing tools that this Washington High School big man has as an underclassman.

Price was easily one of the highest rated prospects from the in-state 2027 class that was in attendance at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. At a very impressive 6'8", Price is one of the more physically dominant post players in the 2027 class and does so with so much power and force in the paint. He has great mobility as a big man, can protect the rim, and is extremely efficient around the basket. There is so much to like about Price and he projects well with a lot of upside.
