If STVM is going to get back to competing for state titles next season, Whorton will need to have a big season in the middle for the Irish. A big man with good touch who can stretch the floor and play in the pick and roll, Whorton has all the tools to take the next step this winter and establish himself as one of the best bigs in northeast Ohio. Whorton's recruitment will also be determined by his production levels with STVM this winter.

One of the most dominant players in the Dayton area, Hoerner led the GWOC in scoring as a Junior. An incredibly skilled big who can do a lot with the ball in his hands, Hoerner can post up, knock down the baseline jumper and make the defense pay for doubling. The key for Hoerner will be proving he can defend on the perimeter at a college level. His offensive numbers speak for themselves and were a big reason why he was a late riser in our rankings.

Not too many players combine the size and shooting ability of Clemmons. Drawing interest from college programs at a variety of levels, it's easy to see why college programs would be drawn to Clemmons skillset. This winter will be a big season for Clemmons who has the tools to be one of the top rebounders and shot blockers in the Cincinnati area. Fairfield will be relying on a big year from Clemmons in the paint defensively as their guards can thrive in transition off misses and steals. Will be interesting to follow Clemmons progress this winter.

The second Lutheran West Longhorn to be featured in this series, I expect college programs to be very interested in watching the Longhorns 2025 class that includes [player_tooltip player_id='2042514' first='Ryan' last='Calo'] and the Meyer twins. [player_tooltip player_id='2409660' first='Matthew' last=''] is a little bigger bodied than his twin brother and does a nice job of being physical in the paint. The righty of the duo, Meyer has been a consistent presence in the paint by boxing out, rebounding and playing big. Might end up seeing some more offense from Meyer as a senior considering the talent that graduated from Lutheran West last season.

One of the more athletic bigs in northeast Ohio, Aniton has some physical tools that pop when you watch him play. A big who can move in space and protect the rim, Aniton has a lot of defensive upside. Still a long way away from contributing to a college program right now, Aniton is a player that a JUCO, post grad or redshirt year would be the best option to further develop as a player because the tools are there to become an impact guy down the line. Hoping to see the start of that progress this winter as Aniton has the talent to help a high school program win right now.
