<p>Williams is an underrated name to get to know in the 2025 class out of Cary Academy. He kicks things off among top returners in assists per game after averaging 2.3 assists per game in 2023-24. With a new look for the offensive attack on the horizon, he's due to see an increase in more than just assists number as he looks to go out with a bang in his senior season.</p>

<p>Rutherford is a high-IQ guard to get to know in the Metrolina Christian Academy backcourt with a new season on the horizon. He checks in at No. 9 among top returners in assists per game after increasing his assists production from 0.5 in 2022-23 to 2.4 in 2023-24. After making a leap as a junior, it will be interesting to see if he can continue his development in his final year of varsity basketball in 2024-25.</p>

<p>Kennedy is one of a few names checking in at eighth as there's a three-way tie in the top returners list. 2.7 assists per game is the magic number as [player_tooltip player_id='2699174' first='Chandler' last='Kennedy'] checks in with Carmel Christian School. He returns for the Cougars after dishing out 77 assists across 29 games during his junior year. Given their unselfish style of play, it wouldn't be surprising to see his production go up in 2024-25.</p>

<p>Burrus is a returning 2025 name to get to know on the NCISAA 4A stage with Durham Academy. He dished out 64 assists through 24 appearances for the Cavaliers this past season to finish with a 2.7 average when it was all said and done. He'll look to make a lot more noise with experience around him this upcoming season </p>

<p>Dorsette is a rising junior prospect to keep an eye on out of Durham Academy. He's shown he's capable of making things happen for others as he continues to develop for the Cavaliers in the NCISAA 4A ranks. He put up 2.7 assists per game as a sophomore and with a few senior guards to work with, he's due for an increase in his assists' numbers.</p>

<p>Wilkins has proven to be a name to know on all fronts in the NCISAA 4A with Christ School. He checks in at fifth on the list of top returners in assists per game after dishing out 2.8 assists per contest in the quest to another state title. Look for his playmaking ability to really blossom with more talent around him. His passing is probably his most underrated trait. Given the amount of attention he'll draw from opposing defenders, look for the HM target's production to increase.</p>

<p>Walker is a name in the Metrolina Christian Academy backcourt to keep an eye on. He produced 2.9 assists per game for the Warriors this past season as he checks in at No. 4 among top returners in the NCISAA 4A. He's a strong-framed guard in the 2025 class who's shown he's capable of navigating the court and making things happen for himself and others. </p>

<p>Bowman is one of a few offensive playmakers to know in the Carmel Christian School backcourt heading into the 2024-25 season. He returns for his senior season looking to make a lot more noise after distributing 3.2 assists per game in 2023-24. He's an underrated prospect to get to know in the 2025 class as his usage is due to increase in the backcourt.</p>

<p>Slay is a top name to know in the NCISAA 4A ranks with Carmel Christian School. He's a 6-foot-6 wing who's already a top returning scorer who also returns at second in assists per game from a season ago. He checks in with 3.9 assists per contest after dishing out 114 assists as a junior. With a bigger role on the horizon, look for Slay to turn a corner. It's easy to see why he's a D1 prospect in the 4A ranks as he holds a number of offers from MM programs heading into his senior season.</p>

<p>White is already a familiar face among top returners as a top rebounder in the backcourt and leads the way in the NCISAA with assists per game heading into 2024-25. He dished out 5.6 assists per game for the Lions and led them to the NCISAA 4A Semifinals in the state playoffs this past season. He's a high-level playmaker due to make waves in his senior year to lead Covenant Day as a state title contender. Dean College and Randolph College have offered him.</p>
