I saw Gideon throwing down some impressive dunks while warming up for the event, and based on the physical profile alone, I made sure to include his team in my schedule. In both 3v3 and 5v5 settings he thrived getting to the basket, showing quickness on the ball to beat the initial defender, and then the power to explode to the basket and finish in traffic. At times he got caught trying to do too much off the dribble, but when he kept the game simple and attacked the basket, there weren't many players who could stop him. He could be one of the most productive sophomores in the Twin Cities this winter.

Everyone has been raving over the play of [player_tooltip player_id='2126467' first='Baboucarr' last='Ann'] yesterday, so there isn't much left to say. His fluidity attacking off the basket, impressive footwork playing off two feet, and effort on the defensive end made him the standout from the event. He was competing like someone just looking to make the end of the bench on his school's varsity roster, despite being one of the most established prospects at the event. Really liked the combination of effort, skill, and physical tools that Babou brings to the floor.

Not many players produced at the level Julian did, and very few, if any, matched his assist totals. Julian doesn't immediately stand out with size or explosive athleticism, but his feel for the game and all-around skill level allow him to produce at a high level. He was getting into the lane and delivering passes from difficult angles right into the hands of his shooters, while also dropping some no-look dimes to his forwards around the rim. If one of his teammates had space to shoot, Julian was going to get the ball to them. Knocked down a couple of threes and had a ridiculous finish through contact in the game I watched.

Isiah may not have put up the offensive numbers of other guys on this list, but I have him here because of the constant effort he was putting in on defense. He was picking up full court just about every possession, and pressuring opposing point guards the length of the floor. In a showcase setting where a lot of players are focusing on trying to put up numbers offensively, that type of intensity on defense was fun to watch.

Bennett showed some improvements in a number of ways since I last saw him as a freshman. He looks to have grown a bit, now listed at 6'6, and was doing more off the dribble than I had seen before. He still has that shooting touch that makes him a pick & pop threat as a big, but was comfortable playing on the wing and getting into his own shot off the dribble. Showed some improved athleticism as he picked off a deep pass and went coast-to-coast for a dunk. Shot it as well as any wing/forward I saw throughout the day.

Kamar looks the part of someone ready to take a leap forward for DeLaSalle this winter. At 6'4 he has some length out on the wing, but his defensive versatility and athleticism lead me to believe he could step in as a small-ball forward when needed. I liked his willingness to defend just about every spot on the floor, while rebounding at a high level. Can explode to the basket with a straight line drive, while proving you can't leave him open from three. One of the more explosive wing prospects in the 2027 class.

Omar recently played with Palestine's u18 junior national team, and he was making plays on both ends of the floor yesterday at Hopkins. The 6'7 big is a hard worker who sprints up and down the floor, battles for rebounds/loose balls, and was one of the best shot blockers at the event. Offensively he's at his best catching on the block and using his strength to finish through opposing forwards. Still a bit raw on that end of the floor, but showed flashes of handling the ball in transition and the comfort to step out and hit the open three. Could be an intriguing long-term prospect.
