This was pretty much our first extended look at a big group of Minnesota's 2028s. So after that first look, who are the ten from a prospect point of view that really grabbed our attention from the Freshmen Showcase? Keep in mind this was the first few hours that we really got an extended look so it's just starting the foundation at the high school level for years to come.

[player_tooltip player_id='2544137' first='Acaurii' last='Clark'] of Mounds View/[program_tooltip program_id='2075681' first='Minnesota' last='Magic'] (6'1 G). Clark is one of the best attacking guards in the class and was really good in the 3 on 3.

Koa Fuller of Hill-Murray/[program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] (6'4 F). Strength, touch, agility and high percentage finishing is what we saw from Fuller all day.

[player_tooltip player_id='2417472' first='Gavin' last='Groehler'] of Rochester Mayo/Minnesota Takeoff (6'9 Big). The biggest player at the event has low post size and a touch to go with it.

Charlie Howe of Champlin Park/[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] (6'2 Sg). Howe was one of the best two shooters that I saw at the event.

Ichima Idoko of DeLaSalle/J Sizzle (6'6 Pf). When it comes to length and explosion in a frontcourt player, Idoko was the best I saw.

Tre Moore of Hopkins/J Sizzle (5'11 Pg). I thought Moore was the most impressive two way all around player at the Showcase yesterday.

[player_tooltip player_id='2380924' first='Jesse' last='Riziq'] of Totino-Grace/Team FSA (6'6 Big). When it comes to kids at the event that could grow into a high ceiling prospect, Jesse is one that stood out.

Taaj Whitlock of DeLaSalle/[program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] (6'0 Pg). Handles and breaking down guys as the initial ball handler, that is Taaj who was one of the toughest to stop from getting to space.

Kevin Wilson of Tartan/[program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley'] (5'10 Pg). When it comes to experience of playing basketball against higher levels of competition, KJ is the veteran of this class.

Willie Wright Jr of Minnetonka/[program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley'] (5'10 Pg). Loved his shooting touch and craft at guard. Wright has the special skill set coming into high school.

[player_tooltip player_id='1895712' first='Daniel' last='Zoa'] of Totino-Grace/[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] (6'4 F). Zoa was the most physically dominant player at the event and definitely the toughest player to stop at the event.
