If this young man can find some consistency this winter and into his 17u season, I think he has a world of potential. This is a top 25 level prospect when it comes to size at his spot, skill level, and physical abilities in terms of the way he moves. Clark is a consistent four months away from being on the radar of colleges because the ability is there, production is the next step. Clark was outstanding at the Expo and the way he played made me think Tarell Clark from Burnsville from years back (yes the last name helped me get to that thought!). Clark should have a huge year at Simley.

Clark is a player that falls into the major stock riser category from this event. He is bigger, stronger, longer and more explosive than we last saw him and when you combine that great first step and separation ability, you have an attacking player that is going to be tough for just about anybody to stop. He could inch closer to top 25 than top 50 based on what we saw Saturday.

It had been awhile since I had last seen Acaurii in action, as he turned in a dominant performance in the 3v3 section of The Expo. He looks to have grown a little since the high school season and looks more explosive as an athlete. He was very tough to contain on drives to the basket, using his size and athleticism to finish through and around contact. Clark is also a capable shooter and will be in for a breakout junior season, transferring to Simley.

Clark brought a dominant, competitive mindset to every single matchup. A long, lanky wing who covers ground quickly in transition, he showcased sophisticated footwork and creative pivot moves to carve out space in the paint. When defenses collapsed and sent help his way, Clark routinely made the unselfish play, dropping precise passes to open teammates for easy buckets.

Clark scored six and a half points a game last year for Two Rivers. He makes the very short move within the Metro East and will now play for Simley. A junior guard.

Acaurii was the go-to player on his team and he showed off his full offensive skillset with the ball in his hands. He attacked the basket strong and under control where he could finish with either hand around contact. He did the majority of his scoring damage inside, but showed flashes of what his perimeter game could become. Clark is an elite athlete who can play above the rim already as a rising sophomore.
