Five New Names to Know

[player_tooltip player_id='3719185' first='Daevion' last='Stampley'] of Minneapolis Roosevelt (sr). Stampley scored 7.5 points a game last season with 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists a game. A 5'10 long armed player that is a good rebounding guard, a solid three point shooter and a defensive pest with that length. Roosevelt has a hard working group in the backcourt that could be very good defensively and Stampley is a key part of that potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='2630926' first='Jake' last='Dixon'] of Minneapolis South (sr). Dixon is a player that I could see take a big step this winter. He is one of the lone returning players from last year's rotation and Dixon has the size at 6'6 that a lot of the players in the league won't have. Dixon grabbed 6.4 rebounds a game last year and scored three times a contest.

Terence Horton of South St. Paul (sr). Horton is one of three SSP transfers in (along with [player_tooltip player_id='2126155' first='Taurean' last='Williams'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2418775' first='Fadil' last='Alabi']) that we think should get them 15 wins at least and if things go right, even better. Horton was all league at North St.Paul last season scoring 17 points a game using an attack game scoring with strong body control and touch at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='3677797' first='Marcel' last='Bolden'] of St. Paul Como Park (sr). Bolden is a player that hit our radar a few years back as a standout student athlete and as a leader. When we saw him play last winter he grabbed 11 rebounds from the wing spot at six feet. He was a vocal player on the court that attacked to score 11 points a contest as a junior.

Arnolfo Flores II of Simley (soph). Simley is a team that we've recently been really high on what they can be. [player_tooltip player_id='2544137' first='Acaurii' last='Clark'] has big potential and is now a Spartan, Meech Wlliams is now there and has potential, and guys like [player_tooltip player_id='2405556' first='Tre' last='Lovelace'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2853839' first='Jaraye' last='Armstrong'] Jr are good veterans. Flores is the type of six foot combo guard that could complete it all. A good young player that was honorable mention all league and Flores did it with his defense, his attack and create, and knocking down some shots.
