We saw Perie plenty of times during the Prep Hoops Circuit schedule and now get the chance to see him again in the fall league. Perie has continued to improve his confidence with the ball in his hands with his best move coming off a steal where he used exaggerated euro steps to create space for the layup. Always been a good shooter with his feet set, Perie knocked down some open 3-point looks as well. I also have noticed an improvement with Perie's processing, making quicker decisions to get the ball to his teammates on time.

One of the elite shooters in central Ohio's 2025 class, Hess should play a leading role for a Jonathan Alder squad who will once again be favorites to win their conference. With a quick release and the range to extend out well beyond the 3-point line, Hess is a tough cover. I thought he showed the most improvement as a passer on Saturday as he hit cutters and didn't force the issue. After graduating Peyton Heiss, this passing development from Hess could come at the perfect time as he'll be relied on to create for his teammates as a senior leader.

Lynch, Hess and Perie formed a nice trio on Saturday morning together, making shots and sharing the basketball. I liked the energy Lynch played with early in the morning, being ready to go right from the 8:00 A.M. tip. His teammates hit him down the court for a couple easy leak out layups and Lynch got dirty by diving for a couple loose balls. I thought Lynch was a key piece in the quick ball movement that their team played with and that was a major reason for their success this week.

Butterfield caught fire in his first game on Saturday by making it rain from downtown. An excellent shooter for his size, Butterfield does a nice job of moving without the basketball and spacing the floor. After knocking down a couple 3-pointers, Butterfield started cutting to the rim and getting easy layup looks due to this movement. Also grabbed a couple offensive rebounds with his height and length, Butterfield is one of the more talented players in the fall league.

A scrappy guard who doesn't shy away from going to the paint despite being one of the youngest and smallest players in the fall league, Alexander had a nice day on a short handed team missing some of their top talent. The lefty had a couple nice drives that led to kickouts to shooters. Also able to knock down an open jumper, Alexander hit a couple 3-pointers on Saturday. Finally, Alexander played with a lot of energy in the full court press and caused some havoc with his energy.
