Freshman Showcase Evaluations: Team 22

He drained 3 or 4 late threes, including a tough step-back in the corner. Defensively he utilized his length as a shot blocker, and was battling for every rebound in his area. They didn't have a ton of size all-around, so Josh spent a lot of time battling against taller players both in the paint and on the wing. He was a scrappy rebounder who didn't mind doing the dirty work inside. He was able to go to work in the post against opposing guards, and hit multiple turnaround jumpers that looked as simple to him as an open lay-up. Opened up some quality looks with hard cuts off the ball, and showcased really nice touch on his mid-range shot. He's listed at 6', but has a much longer wingspan that he used to pull in boards on either hand. After a defensive rebound he was immediately looking to get his team up the floor. Looked a little fazed by the ball pressure early in the game, but adapted and ended up being a reliable ball handler in the second half.
