Abbeville HS: The Panthers have moved down to Class 1A this season. Clearly a favorite maybe in the Upstate this season to make a run. The Panthers will rely on [player_tooltip player_id='1848143' first='Jaden' last='Baylor'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1892777' first='Justin' last='Rollinson'] to provide some leadership. Baylor averaged 12.2 ppg and 6.4 rebounds. Jaden really looks to bully himself to the bucket at times. Rollinson is ultra-athletic young man who averaged 16.4 ppg, 5.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists a season ago.

[player_tooltip player_id='1888745' first='Damarcus' last='Leach'] is already headed to the University of South Carolina to play football next year. Youngster [player_tooltip player_id='2418911' first='Jamerion' last='Williams'] will be a name to follow from the 2028 Palmetto State Class. We all know here the basketball doesn't start bouncing in Abbeville until football season is over usually in late November-Early December.

Calhoun Falls Charter: The Blue Flashes will rely on big man [player_tooltip player_id='1350733' first='Trey' last='Sutton'] to provide some scoring this season. Sutton an a inside-out versatile forward likes to play face-up to the cup at times. Trey can step-out and knockdown the mid-range jumper when called upon. Who will step up and help him this season on the Blue Flashes roster?

Emerald HS (Greenwood): The Vikings finished (9-18) a season ago. Who will help this squad this season?

Greenwood HS: The Eagles could surprise some folks this season in the Upstate. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1766178' first='Jeremiah' last='Brooks'] leads the charge from the backcourt. Brooks helped the Eagles (20-8) last season by averaging 14.5 ppg. Brooks can really impact a game with his play on the floor. The senior guard attacks the baseline, uses screens to race by defenders and jumps on the deck. Jeremiah directs traffic out front and certainly connect on open jumpers when his number his called.

[player_tooltip player_id='2412585' first='CJ' last='Terrell'] a senior is a bit of a late bloomer. Terrell had a strong spring and summer on the Grassroots Circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='2078753' first='Upward' last='Stars Columbia']. CJ averaged 12.8 ppg and 9.6 rebounds a season ago. Terrell seems to operate at his best around the bucket challenging shots and collecting rebounds on both ends of the court.

Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2537653' first='Jeramie' last='Lewis'] is a new name to monitor here for the Eagles. Lewis recently played in the Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase.

Greenwood Christian: The Hawks will rely on [player_tooltip player_id='1806908' first='Ty' last='Kennedy'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1806931' first='Isaiah' last='Scott-Palacios'] again this season. The duo helped the Hawks defeat Hilton Head Christian in the SCISA State Tourney last season 72-66. Kennedy averaged 13.6 ppg and 4.4 rebounds last season for the Hawks (21-7).

[player_tooltip player_id='1806931' first='Isaiah' last='Scott-Palacios'] plays the game a bit old school it seems. He averaged 16.4 ppg and 9.8 rebounds last season. Isaiah is very effective scoring the ball from inside the three-point line and converting a lot of 2-point baskets. The Hawks have a very small enrollment roughly 140 students but play up in SCISA Class 3A for travel reasons.

Ware Shoals HS: The Hornets finished (8-14) a season ago. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2420514' first='Jayce' last='Medlin'] is back after averaging 16.4 ppg last year.
