A big who has been sending waves through the state with his play this season is CJ Terrell CJ Terrell 6'6" | PF Greenwood | 2025 State SC . CJ was a standout to start the season at The Ville Turkey Tip-Off and put up 12 Points, hauling in several offensive rebounds in the Lakelands FCA Holiday Tournament despite being on the wrong end of some foul trouble. On the season, Terrell is averaging 17.2 PPG on 65% FG, 10.1 RPG, and 1.9 BPG in 15 games. Although his length and aggressiveness are effective in the paint, CJ is also polished enough to step out into the mid-range and behind the arc to knock down jump shots. Terrell holds an offer from Denmark Technical College.

CJ keeps making strides over the past year with his play for the Eagles. CJ makes the move up from #86 to #55 this time around in the latest update of Stock-Risers.

CJ has really good length to be disruptive at times around the rim. He will challenge and alter shots around the bucket. He can step-out to 17 feet and knockdown some open looks on occasion. CJ runs the floor well and will fill lane in transition coming the other way.

CJ is another one of Upward Stars Gold’s bigs who was impressive on Saturday in North Carolina. He put up 13 Points, 10 Rebounds, and 3 Blocks a win with impressive play on both ends of the floor. Terrell is a confident and capable stretch big with a sound jump shot from the mid-range and behind the arc. He also proved to be more than just a shot blocker on the defensive end with a very impressive play where he jumped a passing lane, leading to a run-out at the basket. CJ has good length and showed that he could play as the lone 5 or with another big due to his skill on the offensive end.

CJ was a dominant rim protector in both Upward Stars Gold’s matchups on Saturday, but he was particularly effective on the offensive end in their first game. Terrell ran the floor well, worked to score with his faceup jump shot or with his back to the basket, was a pest on the offensive glass, and even showed an ability to pass out of the post. He has very good feet to help him work around the basket and his length helps him finish over defenders or reject shots on the other end. CJ went for 19 Points and 7 Rebounds in Game 1 and 10 Blocks between the two games.

Terrell is the other talented Eagle on this list and he holds down the paint on both ends of the floor. CJ is not a high-flying big man, but he has good instincts with his rim protection and good fundamentals with his scoring around the basket. He also had a couple of good moments showing his skill on the offensive end, knocking down a three and getting to the rim off the dribble. Terrell is a confident and capable shooter from 15 feet and out. He will fill up the stat sheet with Points, Rebounds, and Blocks, doing just that in the loss to James Island going for 16, 6, and 4.
