2024 Toledo Top 64 – Light Blue Preview

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2024 Toledo Top 64 is back for its 4th year as it will be held on Sunday, September 29th at Toledo Scott High School. This event brings some of the best players in the NWO area under one roof so that college coaches can come to watch them compete against each other. He is a high-level player that can do a little bit of everything. He is a great modern-day big. He has the height and size that you want with the athletic ability to match it. He moves very fluidly and is a strong player who is a presence in the paint. He has great touch and moves around the rim but his game from the arc separates him from most. He showed to be able to put it all together and be an elite role player on a state final four team last year as a freshman. Young has great size for the guard. He is a good athlete with some sneaky length. He showed some great defensive skillset and effort. He can lock up most of any guards. He is a shorter player but has a good stocky strong build that he uses will to absorb and use contact against bigger players. He has a very high IQ and a feel for the game. He is a pass-first point guard who is making the right play with the ball. He knows when to just get the offense started and when to create offense for himself or everyone else. He plays hard and is a coach's dream. He scores the ball very well, plain and simple. He can do it at all three levels. He has the aggressiveness and confidence to go put the ball in the rim when he wants to. He has good size and solid strength that opens up the physical side of his game to score the ball. He has a good touch around the rim. He can knock down shots at a good clip as well. He is a 6'4 wing who can put a guard in multiple positions. He has a good maturity in his game. He never forces anything that is not there. He knows how to pick his spot on the floor and score from it. He does not make mistakes. He seems like a natural leader for his team because of his play and talk on the court. I am excited to see how he plays with them all season and how he performs against the NWO talent at this event. He can score the ball with the best of them. He is a good slasher who has some nice acrobatic finishes. When he gets hot it is tough to stop him because when he is hitting shots it makes it tough to guard him. He is an aggressive and confident kid. He is a 6'7 forward who has good length and is athletic. His strength is his athleticism and ability to play above the rim. He is a very good finisher because it's tough to block his shot. He is a great rim protector on the other end of the floor as well. He covers ground quickly and does a great job of altering shots for the other team. He has a good size and ability score. He has great energy on the court and seems to really enjoy playing the game. He is a get-to-the-rim first player but has a good ability to not really force it. He has a great potential to be a lockdown guard defender who can switch onto a big if need be.
