Island is a point guard you just want on your team. He is a shorter player but has a good stocky strong build that he uses will to absorb and use contact against bigger players. He has a very high IQ and a feel for the game. He is a pass-first point guard who is making the right play with the ball. He knows when to just get the offense started and when to create offense for himself or everyone else. He plays hard and is a coach’s dream. Excited to see him against some of the best point guards in the area.

I love Island’s game. He is a coach’s dream in the point guard position. He is a smaller player but he plays much bigger. He gives 100% every minute he is on the floor. He is a great leader and an excellent communicator. He plays with a ton of passion and energy. He has the ball on the string and controls the pace of the game. He has good court vision. Nice feel for the game and a high IQ. Nice fundamental footwork as well.
