The shooting guard from St. Ignatius showcased an impressive coast-to-coast ability, combining speed with physicality. He excelled as a downhill attacker in the halfcourt, consistently putting pressure on the defense. Ross also demonstrated a strong presence on the glass, competing for rebounds and contributing in all areas of the game. It's great to see his ability to play with such physicality and be a well-rounded contributor.

Carpenter, who attended last year's Freshman Showcase, has shown significant growth as a player coming into his sophomore year. His improved vertical leap was evident, with moments where he rose high to finish at the rim. Carpenter is a slithery attacker through defenses, and he's capable of extending his range to the three. Defensively, his length is an asset, and he displayed communication in calling out screens. Attending Glenbard North for upcoming season.

Brown, one of the standout players on the 2027 list, made a strong impression at the camp. He excelled in transition, using his speed and larger frame to create easy scoring opportunities at the rim. Once he gets going on a fast break, he's difficult for defenders to stop. Brown also showcased strong rebounding skills and made a significant impact on the defensive end with his physical presence. Additionally, he demonstrated some range with his shot, adding another dimension to his game.

Standing at 6'6", Mayville is a commanding presence on the court. His sharp cutting ability allows him to breeze past defenders and finish softly at the hoop. He battles hard on the boards, and his effort pays off on the offensive end, where he displays strength in following up missed shots. Mayville also has a smooth jumper, complemented by a controlled shot fake that creates higher-quality shooting opportunities.

Meyers first caught my attention with his defensive awareness. He constantly kept his head on a swivel, surveying the entire floor and creating steals, displaying leadership qualities. Offensively, Meyers is a force, combining physical drives with strong passing instincts. He showed that in transition while also being dominant attacking the rim. His mid-range shooting is smooth, with an ability to make pull-ups and step-backs.

Ghattas demonstrated a strong ability to cut to the rim, consistently finding open spots and passing lanes. His soft touch around the basket complements his cutting ability. He also showed a sharp eye for quick, tight-window passes, adding to his offensive skills.

I enjoyed the tempo Lewis played with when the ball was in his hands. He showcased a strong ability to quickly change speed and direction. Lewis also demonstrated the skill and toughness needed to finish off-balance shots at the rim. He's the type of guard who can sink the defense with his ball-handling and craftiness.
