Portland State held its annual elite camp this past Friday and many of the state's top players came ready to play. It was a solid afternoon of action at the Viking Pavilion and we had the opportunity to watch much of the competition. After looking at our own notes and talking to others who also observed, here's a look at some of the top shooters in attendance.

[player_tooltip player_id='2348784' first='Diogo' last='Alves'] (2025 Tualatin) - was one of the more deadeye shooters. he spotted up on the wings and corners, got the kickouts and buried the open Js. showed some spunk on D as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2132791' first='Keylon' last='Kittleson'] (2027 Portland Christian) - was a little overmatched physically as one of the younger players there, but found his spots and knocked down some catch-and shoot opportunities. nice looking stroke and rotation.

[player_tooltip player_id='1951856' first='Jaxon' last='Lawson'] (2026 Canby) - arguably the top shooter we saw during camp as he was absolutely on fire - we estimated he hit about 80 percent of the threes he took and we witnessed him hitting at least eight of them over the course of three games. he didn't just bomb away either as capably got to the hoop and created for others too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2427510' first='Carter' last='Lockhart'] (2028 Gresham) - one of the youngest guys at camp, Lockhart played with the big boys and fit right in. the lefty has a super sweet looking shooting stroke and he sank a handful of jumpers and looked good doing so. he both spotted up and created off the dribble to get his shot off.

[player_tooltip player_id='2204993' first='Jaxson' last='Spafford'] (2025 Putnam) - one of the top scorers in 5A last season, it was no surprise to see him shooting and making shots often. using the corners and wings as his go-to spots, either spotting up or using the dribble, he was especially hard to stop when he got in rhythm.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582931' first='Eli' last='Vizconde'] (2026 Mountainside) - a list of top shooters at any event will always include Vizconde if he's there and the rising junior certainly hit his share of jumpers. he's become a more balanced overall threat though and used some of his strength to get to the basket for buckets.
