We've been looking at some grassroots MOP's from this spring and summer grassroots season. It's now time to take a look at some 2027's that fit the bill.

* This is NOT an all-encompassing article. There were so many great players that deserve to be in articles like these, but we can't cover them all.

Take a look at out 2025 and 2026 grassroots MOP's below!

https://prephoops.com/2024/08/5-grassroots-mops-2025s/

https://prephoops.com/2024/08/5-grassroots-mops-2025s-part-2/

https://prephoops.com/2024/08/6-grassroots-mops-2026s/

https://prephoops.com/2024/08/5-grassroots-mops-2026s-part-2/

Kurncz had a bit of a breakout summer with the Midwest Stampede. I'll start by saying that he's a highly intelligent player that is very coachsble and always engaged. Kurncz gets his buckets, but he does so playing solid team basketball and looking for good shots.

Cast was a stock riser this spring and summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2077030' first='The' last='Family'].. He was able to play on or off the ball, making him versatile on the offensive end. Cast has shown the ability to shoot off the catch in the past, so his improvement in creating looks and shooting off the bounce has been huge.

I really liked the direction that Vinyard's game is going. It looked like he's added muscle and I think it has shown in his game. Vinyard was forceful and strong attacking the rim and finishing through defenders. Adding downhill confidence to an already dangerous jumper is a very big step.

I've written about Parmentier a lot, I know. But the kid really impressed me this summer. Even better was the fact that he played up throughout grassroots season. Parmentier has a shot at being one of the better pure shooters in his class. He can be an absolute game changer when he grooves his jumper.

LePla is a player that I've been very high on since he stepped into high school. His positional size and skills are just at another level. LePla has a balanced offensive game with his ability to score with power under the rim as well as create opportunities for athletic jumpers. He really shined this summer for D Rice Elite.

We've been looking at some grassroots MOP's from this spring and summer grassroots season. It's now time to take a look at some 2027's that fit the bill.
