Last week we looked at some class of 2025 Most Outstanding Players from grassroots season. Since there were so many athletes that had MOP type seasons, we decided to add a Part 2. So here are 5 more 2025 grassroots MOP's.

You can read Part 1 below!

https://prephoops.com/2024/08/5-grassroots-mops-2025s/

While a couple other Playmakers deservedly got a lot of attention, it's important not to overlook the influence that Herron had. He showed a well rounded and versatile perimeter game. Herron played smart and efficient and showed he could be relied on as a primary ball handler. But he also showed the ability to move off the ball and put points on the board.

Walther has seen a very steady rise in his stock as a next level prospect. He's a high IQ basketball player that has some real and underrated athletic abilities. He showed the ability all summer to get downhill and finish at or above the rim. Walther really put his takeover abilities on display for Strictly Skills.

James is about to get a chapter in my book with all that it feels like I've written about him. That tells you enough about his game. With Ballers Elite this spring and summer, we saw James transform for a knock down shooter to an efficient guard that can handle, create for his teammates and distribute. Oh by the way, that jumper is still there.

Especially at the point guard position, I know size and frame aren't really as important to me. I want winners. If you want winner, you want Blyden. He moves the ball with intelligence and quickness and gets it to where it needs to be. He showed how much he could influence a game beyond just scoring. That's why he's getting offers.

I was able to see Burns play in Grand Rapids this summer and I came away very impressed. He teamed up with [player_tooltip player_id='1587737' first='Ayden' last='Dirschell'] to provide excellent leadership on and off the floor. Burns used a food frame with solid strength and positional size to dominate smaller defenders. He made a real statement this summer, showing college coaches that he's a prospect to keep an eye on.

Last week we looked at some class of 2025 Most Outstanding Players from grassroots season. Since there were so many athletes that had MOP type seasons, we decided to add a Part 2. So here are 5 more 2025 grassroots MOP's.
