Dirschell is a prospect that I’ve really liked for a long time. While he can score the ball, he doesn’t need to in order to have an influence on the game. Dirschell plays with energy and grit and will never stand on his heels offensively. He’ll be a willing physical screener, a regular cutter and can find open space on that end of the floor.

Dirschell could make a very loud statement at The Expo. He definitely has a next level frame and the strength and versatility to go with it. Dirschell could probably play 4 positions in high school ball. He brings a lot of grit and energy to the floor and college coaches should get a glimpse.

Dirschell can be found running with Young Hustle. If you look back to last year, he was one of the more improved players that I saw during grassroots season, with it coming to a culmination in Romeoville, Illinois at a Prep Hoops Circuit event. Dirschell has continued to develop as a player, becoming a true leader for Coldwater and continuing to diversify his game.

I kind of owe Dirschell in the new year. He’s made me look way smarter than I am. I saw him this summer on the Prep Hoops Circuit and he’s simply a different level player. Dirschell has continued that dominance during the high school season. He’s show explosiveness, versatility and the ability to create and finish with a bucket.

Pardon me while I have an I told you so moment. I know I said this summer to watch out for Dirschell, that his game had risen to another level. Well, here we are. Season has just gotten started and Dirschell put his improved game on display. He looks ready for a BIG season. Dirschell finished the game with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists.

The Top 250 just helped to confirm my belief in this young man. Watch out for him this coming high school season. He’s a way more polished scorer than he was last year. Dirschell will have a lot more looks this season as well, so a big senior campaign looks like a strong possibility.
