<p>With the AAU season winding down, I thought we'd take a look back to see which incoming seniors, juniors and sophomores had impactful performances in the final rounds of the 2024 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Boys Basketball Tournament. These will undoubtedly be players to watch when the winter high school season kicks off in several months. This series of articles will feature standouts from the tournament through the State Championship games.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1351717' first='Zach' last='Kinziger'] - 2025 | CG | De Pere | [program_tooltip program_id='2391400' first='Team' last='Herro'] | 6'3" - Kinziger put up 23 in a tightly contested loss to Arrowhead in the sectional finals. The #2 ranked player in the class of 2025 by Prep Hoops Wisconsin also contributed 6 assists, 4 rebounds and a blocked shot. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2492732' first='Judson' last='Henkel'] - 2025 | PF | Janesville Craig | [program_tooltip program_id='2078835' first='Wisconsin' last='Swing'] | 6'6" - In what proved to be a tough matchup for Janesville Craig, Henkel did all he could for the Cougars. He surpassed his season scoring average with a 20-point performance in his final game of the season.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1244808' first='Brooks' last='Hinson'] - 2025 | PG | Marshfield | [program_tooltip program_id='2076033' first='Wisconsin' last='Playmakers'] | 6'2" - The #2 point guard in Wisconsin's 2025 class, according to Prep Hoops, scored 16, along with 3 rebounds, 2 steals and an assist versus Neenah. The standout put up similar scoring numbers throughout the '23-'24 high school season. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1561870' first='Kayden' last='Travis'] - 2026 | PG | West Allis Central | 5'6" - Travis was one of three players in double digits for the Bulldogs. The 5'6" guard was also the leading rebounder in the game with 5, while also swiping 5 steals, dropping 2 dimes, and scoring 15. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2194435' first='Max' last='Jones'] - 2027 | SG | West Allis Central | 24:UP | 6'2" - According to Prep Hoops, Jones is a top ten player in Wisconsin's 2027 class. He showed why with a 15-point performance on 50% shooting, including three triples, as a freshman in the sectional finals. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2411140' first='Kevin' last='Pittman'] - 2026 | PF | West Allis Central | [program_tooltip program_id='2391400' first='Team' last='Herro'] | 6'10" - Rounding out the trifecta for West Allis Central was [player_tooltip player_id='2411140' first='Kevin' last='Pittman'], who dropped 14 points in the matchup with the eventual state champion, Marquette University High School. The big man in the middle also grabbed 4 boards and had 2 blocked shots.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1973149' first='Chris' last='Pohl'] - 2026 | SF | Marshfield | [program_tooltip program_id='2076033' first='Wisconsin' last='Playmakers'] | 6'7" - The second Marshfield Tiger on this list, Pohl was big on the glass for his team with 8 rebounds. The top ten 2026 player in the state, according to Prep Hoops, also scored 13 in the sectional finals loss to Neenah. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1544760' first='Ben' last='Bestor'] - 2025 | SG | Kettle Moraine | [program_tooltip program_id='2485567' first='MTXE' last='Premier Milwaukee'] | 6'1" - Bestor eclipsed his season scoring average by posting 11 points in his team's win over Janesville Craig. He is considered to be one of the top 20 shooting guards in Wisconsin's 2025 class by Prep Hoops. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2426092' first='Landon' last='Lee'] - 2025 | PG | Marshfield | [program_tooltip program_id='2494152' first='Wisconsin' last='Warriors'] | 5'11" - Not to be outdone by West Allis Central, Marshfield also placed three players on this list. Lee scored 10 in the sectional finals, adding 3 assists and one mark in each of the rebounds, steals and blocks categories. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2388792' first='AJ' last='Ohrmundt'] - 2025 | PF | Arrowhead | 6'7" - Ohrmundt was one of several players for Arrowhead to attack the boards in the win over De Pere. He pulled down 6, to go along with 2 blocked shots, an assist and 5 points to help get his team to Madison. </p>
