6A is wide open this year and with Herriman just a play away from making the State Championship game last year and returning so many valuable assets they will be the team to start with a bullseye on their back. Players that will emerge on the team will be [player_tooltip player_id='1551401' first='Zach' last='Tanner'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2080687' first='Stockton' last='Blanchard']. [player_tooltip player_id='1278442' first='Carlo' last='Mulford'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1369726' first='Cale' last='Barclay'] will be tough.

Layton is going to get a lot of hungry players on the floor this coming year. The development of [player_tooltip player_id='1724368' first='Karter' last='Miller'] is ahead of schedule. They have strong guard play and some size to compete with anyone in any style. Excited to see what [player_tooltip player_id='1568152' first='Sam' last='Romer'] does this year and even [player_tooltip player_id='2716619' first='Chase' last='Randall']. They actually have a very deep and capable roster.

Corner Canyon will need a lot of minutes from [player_tooltip player_id='1724355' first='Diesel' last='Dart'], [player_tooltip player_id='2208570' first='Manase' last='Brown'] as youngsters. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='1278437' first='Tyler' last='Mortensen'] to turn the corner and help [player_tooltip player_id='1190620' first='Bryton' last='Valdes'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1190621' first='Noah' last='Bendinger']. Bendinger is having a stellar July.

AF will have a different look as their size will consist of [player_tooltip player_id='2089441' first='Jax' last='Clark'] and the kid is a D1 kid and he will need a lot of guard help and they will do it by committee. Really like what I have seen from [player_tooltip player_id='2448228' first='Cael' last='Flinders'].

Lehi will be led by [player_tooltip player_id='1164729' first='Easton' last='Hawkins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1724360' first='Ashton' last='Shewell'] but look out for [player_tooltip player_id='2460963' first='Cole' last='Welch'] he has some wiggle to his game and I have been impressed.

The parity in 5A after the 1st two is undeniable. You have teams like Olympus, Brighton and Woods Cross that can easily be in the Top 5. They just didn't make it in this round.

Orem is loaded. They have 3 D1 players on the team and might be the best team in the state. Best glue guy on that team might be [player_tooltip player_id='1146661' first='Trey' last='Hiatt'].

Dean Ruckert has a solid cast around him and we are looking forward to seeing guys like Lincoln Holcome develop this coming year.

High;and has an elite guard in [player_tooltip player_id='1278450' first='Isaiah' last='Drisdom']. Then you have Bode Dodge and [player_tooltip player_id='1278440' first='Soren' last='Ries']. This team will have the talent.

Alta has really impressed. They obviously lost a lot of pieces but they are getting solid play from a lot of player. Dash Rieser is a scoring machine and Zak Peapke is putting on some weight and getting stronger.

Springville on paper could beat anyone. They have a dominant big and they have guards that can shoot. Keep an eye on them.
