Lehi is a team that is lurking. Even coming off of a state championship they have found ways to motivate themselves and with a PG like Welch they will have a shot to compete. He is quick and shifty. He defends and plays with creativity. If he can stay loose he will be able to get his teammates the ball in scoring positions. He is set to have a solid year.

I was really impressed with Welch’s skills as he has ben buried by a few players in the past. He has a chance to really hit the ground running and he brings a little more flare and style to this on ball/lead guard skills. He has some wiggle and when he is in the zone he is just too shifty to stay in-front of.

Welch comes out of the gate with a quick first step. He gets into the lanes and is looking for players open in the perimeter. He could be a big piece for Lehi as they look to re-tool after a big time year winning state last year. He can shoot the balla nd the way he changes speeds he can easily get to the rim if you are not ready.
