Still needing some time to fill out his frame and improve his physicality, Irving's athleticism, switch ability and shot blocking should give him an early role while the long term upside will be determined by his rebounding and interior defense. Reed has soft hands, is tough, finishes efficiently in the paint and handles himself with maturity. Not sure where Reed's upside is going to come from, maybe if he becomes a knockdown shooter from the perimeter? While he needs to add weight to his frame, playing at IMG Academy this season should help him prepare for the expectations a college program will have with his weightlifting and diet.
