Our post-spring update of the Class of 2027 rankings is complete and on the list are a number of guys who, based on their play this spring and summer, will be getting major varsity time in 2024-25. Here's a quick look.

17 - [player_tooltip player_id='2132783' first='Damian' last='Olvera'], Tualatin - Olvera spent the year playing sub-varsity but he'll get instant time at Tualatin. In June, he served as the backup big man to rising senior [player_tooltip player_id='2342862' first='Javier' last='Diaz'] and was instant energy off the bench with his willingness to hit the glass and play tough inside.

19 - [player_tooltip player_id='2026514' first='Nikko' last='Kalish'], Southridge - Kalish starred at JV and will be in the rotation for Southridge this winter. The 6-foot guard can do a little bit of everything and his ability to play all three backcourt spots will give the Skyhawks plenty of depth.

20 - [player_tooltip player_id='2132795' first='Malachi' last='Garlington'], Nelson - Hyper-athletic and bouncy, Garlington goes from what may have been another year playing JV at Central Catholic to instant playing time at Nelson. His ability to get out in transition and finish at the rim adds to the Hawks attack.

25 - [player_tooltip player_id='1961798' first='Major' last='Williams'], Jesuit - Truth was Williams could have at least played JV, but Jesuit made the decision to keep their extremely talented freshman class (sans [player_tooltip player_id='2026054' first='Isaac' last='Bongen']) together playing freshman ball. The son of Benson/Ducks legend Orlando Williams does just about everything on the court well and is line to get plenty of playing time on the Crusader varsity.

26 - [player_tooltip player_id='2026515' first='Brooks' last='Fortune'], Southridge - The younger brother of graduated senior Carter Fortune, the rising sophomore plays a little differently in that he's more of a perimeter sniper. The lefty has gotten varsity time this summer and has been able to knock down shots.

31 - Vincente Harrison, Jesuit - The quick point guard known as Penny should jump to varsity from the freshman team and will give Jesuit some of the deepest backcourt depth in all of 6A. This spring and summer he's been a nightmare to guard getting to the hoop.

32 - [player_tooltip player_id='2132804' first='Shay' last='Thompson'], Sunset - At 6-foot-3 and possibly still growing, Thompson has been starting for Sunset this summer and has flashed immense upside with his length and versatility.
