Ramsey helped lead his team past Mac Irvin Fire 16u EYBL on Saturday night, showcasing his ability to score inside or out. Ramsey can stretch the floor as a pick & pop shooter, but isn't afraid to play with some physicality in the paint either. Walz has no problem using his strength to back down smaller defenders before finishing with touch over the top. He has a long frame and broad shoulders that help him control the glass for his team as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126126' first='Ray' last='Brau'] had some productive minutes against Illinois Wolves UAA on Saturday. Facing off against a frontcourt that featured 6'8, 6'7, and 6'6, Ray was out-muscling all of them for finishes around the rim. Opposing forwards just couldn't handle Ray's physicality, which allowed him to rebound in bulk while bullying his way to the rim for high percentage looks. When you combine his physical tools with the effort that Ray plays with, it makes for consistent paint production.

Tommy has been one of the biggest stock risers in Minnesota this spring/summer, and continues to become more consistent on the offensive end. Against Racine Truth he was taking advantage of the size difference to establish deep post position, and when he caught on the block he finished or was fouled just about every time. Did a nice job of gathering his balance before going up to finish with his right hand. Defensively he blocked a handful of shots while altering a few more. Has good timing and does a nice job of walling up to avoid fouling when players drive right at him.

I'm not sure any player in the state has matched Cole's assist tally this summer. It seems like any time he gets a touch in the high post, he's zipping in a bounce pass to a cutting teammate for an easy finish. Cole sees the floor so well, and is an extremely unselfish player who could go a whole game without shooting and not care as long as his team wins. Cole is made even more dangerous out of the high post as he can face up and shoot if you sag off, while also having the strength to drive to the rim and finish off of one or two dribbles. Torched the Mac Irvin Fire 16u defense with his passing in a win on Saturday.

Thomas is another [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] big developing into a really good passer out of the high post. He can be used in a similar role as [player_tooltip player_id='1575348' first='Cole' last='Wilcek'] on the Fury 17u's, as he sees the floor so well when he faces up. Shunmugavelu is always the strongest player on the floor, and it shows with his ability to clear out space and pull in rebounds in bulk. When pulling in an offensive rebound he has no problem powering his way back up to finish. Capped off the Fury's win on Friday night by getting out in transition for a one handed dunk.

I had seen Harrison once in the spring, and since then he appears to have taken a leap forward with his confidence offensively. Harrison looked comfortable stepping out and knocking down shots from the perimeter, draining three 3's in the game I watched. Didn't get a whole lot of post touches, but had a nice hook shot finish over size in the first half. Harrison has some budding mobility at 6'8 that helps him get up and down the floor while also sliding into positions to protect the rim.

Ryan Ivory had some tough finishes inside against [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] on Sunday morning. He was able to find ways to get to the rim off of one or two dribbles, and once there was powering his way up through arms to finish at a high percentage. Had a couple of early scores where he spun the ball in off the glass from seemingly impossible angles. Although a bit of a tweener between forward and wing, Ryan played a bit bigger than his 6'6 frame and wasn't shying away from physical play around the basket.
