Nick showed out on opening night, showing off his versatile skillset in a win over Billings Elite. He stands at 6'8” and was more than capable of playing inside, as well as on the perimeter. He did most of his scoring from beyond the arc, knocking down a handful of triples off the catch, having really smooth mechanics. Nordaune used his length to rebound and defend around the rim at a high level as well.

Jacob caught fire down the stretch of a tight game to help his team to an opening night victory. He has a lanky 6'6” frame and is so tough to guard with his quick pull-up game and high release point on his shot. He took over in the second half, connecting with several tough looks from three-point range. He found success working off the ball, but also showed flashes of creating using the dribble.

Nolan turned in a great performance on Friday night, showing off his full offensive bag. He looked really good pulling up off the dribble, doing most of which in the mid-range. He had some nice finishes at the rim, making plays in transition or getting around his defender in the half court. The Yale commit is also capable of working with his back to the basket, scoring himself or finding a teammate for an open look.

Mason was phenomenal running the show for Minnesota Lightning in an opening night win. He always looks calm and composed with the ball in his hands, even when dealt with a lot of ball pressure. He was hot from beyond the arc all game, knocking down shots off the catch and off the dribble. King was getting downhill as well for some finishes, always maintaining control on his drives.

Riley was on fire from deep last night, connecting with a number of long triples. He has such a quick release and is a threat to pull it from anywhere at anytime. Johnson looked most comfortable and confident shooting off the catch or with a one-dribble pull-up, but has also shown flashes of using the dribble to create separation on the perimeter, or to get downhill for crafty finishes.

I have really liked what I have seen out of Evan the past few weekends, as he is such a versatile offensive weapon as a 6'5” wing. He is a true three level scorer, being capable of putting the ball on the floor to create for himself. He can shoot it from deep or step in and take a mid-range jumper. Weichert is able to play with his back to the basket, making contested shots look easy. He also rebounded really well on both sides of the ball.

Eli had a fantastic first half on Friday night, taking over to start the game. He is an elite shot maker, being such a hard player to guard when he is creating shots for himself. He is able to hit some tough pull-up looks in the mid-range or from deep. He can also convert on impressive finishes at the rim, getting downhill or running in transition. Schroeder can defend and rebound well for his position with his length and athleticism as well.

Derek was too much to contain inside on Friday night, finding a ton of success using his size and strength to out-muscle defenders around the rim. He stands at 6'4”, but has a very strong build, being able to go to work in the post to convert through contact. He could also play out on the perimeter, knocking down a couple jump shots. Rollins made some big plays on both sides of the ball down the stretch in a tight win.

I really liked what Shaydon brings to the table as a combo guard, being able to conduct an offense or play off the ball. He is very quick with a strong 6'2” frame, using that to get downhill for tough contested finishes. He looked good pulling up in the mid-range, getting a lot of height on his shot. Randall can also guard a variety of different players, being capable of matching up with opponent's top forwards.

Wyatt is such a versatile player and can impact a game in so many ways, even if he is not scoring a lot. He has a long 6'6” frame and is able to defend a variety of positions, having the quickness to guard smaller players on the perimeter, as well as the length and athleticism to match up with forwards inside. Offensively, he is a major threat shooting off the catch from deep and can also work inside for different kinds of finishes.
