GRBA National Championship - Seven Stock-Risers

For all intents and purposes, the GRBA National Championship is the final grassroots basketball stop of the summer. After two back-to-back live evaluation periods in July, the annual event in Fort Wayne serves as a great opportunity for small college prospects to play in front of Division II, Division III, NAIA, and Junior College coaches one final time. Let's highlight some of the prospects who used this final event of the summer to improve their stock among scouting services and college coaches in attendance.    We've been pretty high on Browder now for a little while here at Prep Ho[program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] Indiana, but he was able to get in front of several small college coaches this weekend in Fort Wayne at the GRBA National Championship playing with the Indiana Rough Riders. He is an excellent playmaker in ballscreen situations with quick change of pace, good downhill burst to the rim, and overall court vision. Look for Browder to put up some big numbers during his senior season at Hammond Central High School. Definitely a guard to watch.     Throughout the spring and summer, this 6'7" big man from Carroll (Fort Wayne) High School has been a standout for [program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] - Ervin 17u. His play has put him on the radar of many small college programs as a coveted front court piece. At the GRBA National Championship he averaged a double-double of 13.8 points and 10.0 rebounds. Crane is an outstanding rebounder ending possessions at a high level. Offensively, he finishes well around the basket and is a guy you can play through in the post.     Gilvydis turned in a massive performance in a game on Saturday evening which included hitting a game-tying shot to force overtime and then the game-winner in double overtime. The versatile wing from Andrean High School finished the contest with 27 points and 12 rebounds along with the pair of clutch shots. He has good size and strength in the backcourt which he pairs with an intriguing overall skill level. One of the constant top performers for [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] - Gold 17u throughout the spring and summer months.     This 6'7" forward from Jimtown High School put together big game after big game in front of a host of college coaches at the GRBA National Championship. King averaged 20.8 points and 11.6 rebounds per game playing with Indiana Attack Basketball Club 17u. He showed off his offensive versatility throughout the event dominating around the basket with his size, but also showing off some of his fluidity away from the basket making face-up jump shots and attacking downhill off of the dribble. Really intriguing small college prospect that is poised for a big senior season.     One of the stars [program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] - Ervin 17u, Martin really shot the ball well from three-point range all weekend at the GRBA National Championship. The Warsaw High School product finished the event scoring 25 points in a hard fought loss Midwest Pumas - Gold, but he was excellent throughout pool play as well. Martin averaged 17 points per game and made at least a dozen three-point shots in four games shooting over 50%. He will be one for small college programs to follow closely as he heads into his senior season.     Moore burst onto the scene this past weekend at the GRBA National Championship with [program_tooltip program_id='2383637' first='Summit' last='City Elite'] - White. The left-handed guard from Woodlan High School put up some big scoring numbers which included scoring 28 points on six three-point shots in a game on Saturday. Then, Moore backed it up just narrowly missing a triple-double with 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists. It was a really strong all-around weekend for the 5'11" guard.     Zahn put together a couple of very impressive shooting performances for [program_tooltip program_id='2383637' first='Summit' last='City Elite'] - Black 17u at the GRBA National Championship. After making 46 three-point shots and averaging 12.6 points per game as a junior, this three-year varsity contributor is ready for a breakout senior season at Huntington North High School. He is an impressive perimeter shot-maker while also possessing some playmaking ch[program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] in ballscreen situations. Capable of playing either on or off of the ball in the backcourt.
