He's shown off his growth on the hardwood as more than a scorer and shown he can defend with quite the presence, forcing turnovers with his ability to take charges on defense. He's a lights out shooter from deep as well. Whether off the bounce or off the catch, he keeps defenders guessing with his ability to score the ball from all areas. He's a confident scoring guard who can get going in a hurry with his ability to shoot at volume. He's shown he's a big guard at 6-foot-6 who can get others involved in the offense just as well as he can with his ability to handle ball pressure and make plays with paint touches. His underrated athleticism and strong frame shoild carry him over the next few months as a high level DII recruit.<br></p>     <p class="text-gray-700">vanBeurden is yet another name out of St. Stephen's High to track given his activity on the hardwood. He's been on a tear with [program_tooltip program_id='2078471' first='Carolina' last='Riptide'] on the grassroots stage. He's capable of operating at either guard role given his ability to handle ball pressure and make things happen off the bounce. He's a shifty floor general who knows how to get others involved while maintaining his own scoring consistency on the hardwood. He's an active presence on both ends of the floor who's capable of making his presence felt in the backcourt. His ability to defend with pressure and apply pressure with his paint touches are a hard combination to beat.
