Session two of the DMV Live took place last weekend, featuring even more teams ranging from Pennsylvania to NC and everywhere in between. There were hundreds of college coaches in attendance, the atmosphere was electric and the games were fantastic with a February vibe to them.

Here's a look at part one of some of the VA standouts from the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='1591318' first='Riley' last='Jacobs'] | 6'8” PF | St. Stephen's St. Agnes 2025

Coming off a very good first session, Jacobs made a statement in the second session as he was one of the best performers of the weekend and really boosted his stock while doing it. The 6'8” forward showed his ability to attack off the bounce and finish above the rim, he owned the paint as he attacked the glass on both ends and protected the rim, he showed his ability to switch defensively and was very aggressive around the rim and looking for his shot. He finished the session fourth in scoring at 23.8 PPG, first in rebounds at 15 per game and second in blocks at 3 per game while posting 55.6%/33.3%/88.9% shooting splits.

[player_tooltip player_id='1340929' first='Austin' last='Williford'] | 6'4” WG | STAB 2025

Williford is another player who impressed in session one and boosted his stock quite a bit, and he showed it was no fluke as he took advantage of playing with the ball in his hands and showing his versatility on both ends of the floor. His defense has never been a question as he's able to guard multiple positions and makes plays both on and off the ball, he scored the ball efficiently from all three levels, showed his ability to create off the bounce and was excellent on the glass too. He finished the session sixth in scoring at 22 PPG, averaged a double-double with 10 RPG and pitched in 3.8 assists and 2 steals per game while posting 50.8%/40%/72.7% shooting clips.

[player_tooltip player_id='1489070' first='Danzelle' last='Coles'] | 6'4” WG | STAB 2025

While Coles made waves with his play in the first session he didn't see any offers come out of it, but in session two he showed a great motor and produced across the board leading to him picking up his first offer from Sienna. While he didn't put up the most eye popping numbers the 6'4” wing from Richmond played with great energy on both ends of the floor, made the right play consistently, made plays defensively and scored it in spurts in a lot of different ways. He finished the session averaging 12..5 points, 6 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.8 steals per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1588139' first='Connor' last='Lyons'] | 6'7” PF | STAB 2026

Lyons burst on the scene in session one where he had some big games and showed his terrific shooting ability for his size resulting in a number of offers, and he followed it up showing he's one of the best in his class in the state of VA. Throughout the summer he's gotten more confident in his game and it showed over the last two weekends, shooting the ball at a high clip from deep, making the right reads and being a constant positive presence on the floor for his team. He finished the session averaging 17 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 41% from deep on 39 attempts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1591317' first='Nate' last='Ament'] | 6'9” F | Highland 2025

It would be almost impossible for Ament to duplicate what he did in session one, so while there was somewhat of a drop off he was focused very heavily on and still was able to put up big numbers throughout the event. The five star forward showed the versatility he's become known for as he handled the ball in transition and got the rim at will, he made shots from deep and with mid-post fall aways and pull-ups, he made great decisions with the ball and he dominated the paint on both ends of the floor. He finished the session averaging 20.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 2 assists per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2467023' first='Charlie' last='Miller'] | 6'1” PG | Benedictine 2025

Miller is the senior leader on a young Benedictine team that is looking for a revamp under new coach Sidney McCray, and while they got off to a rough start he stepped up and took control putting up some big numbers over the course of four games. The 6'1” guard was aggressive looking for his shot, showing his ability to knock down shots from deep at a high clip both on and off the ball, and he sets the tone with his motor on the defensive end as a rebounder. He finished the session averaging 20 points and 7 rebounds per game while shooting 54.5% from deep.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470596' first='Ben' last='Edmonds'] | 6'1” PG | Episcopal 2027

Edmonds is part of a young Episcopal team that has a bright future moving forward, and while he's on the younger side he showed absolutely no fear in his approach to the game. He showed good pace and handle probing the defense off the dribble and touching the paint at will, he knocked down shots from deep at a high clip, he created for himself and others and he showed toughness on both ends of the floor. He finished the session averaging 17 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 42.9% from behind the arc.
