Effective using ball screens in the half-court and taking what the defense gives him throughout the game. He is a natural scorer who accumulates buckets in an array of ways. He is in good spots to secure steals and is able to turn defense to offense. The southpaw is very comfortable scoring from three. Edmonds can put the ball through tight gaps to find his teammates for scoring chances.

Ben did almost everything right in a runaway victory in DC on Saturday. Found his teammates early and often as cutters to the rim. Once he started getting into the paint he was able to look out beyond and find shooters. Ben did very well making the both the extra and the easy passes that generated offensive flow for Episcopal. Made shots when the defense allowed, but Ben was more interested in helping his teammates find their rhythm on the floor like a true point guard.

was outstanding for Episcopal this season. Ben is a terrific passer and someone you trust to handle the ball the large chunk of a game. Ben is a fantastic driver with his quickness and crafty finishing ability. He has a nice handle and often uses a step back to create space to get his shot off. He knocks down shots from the mid-range and from three, and he finished the year averaging 16.2 PPG. He was an All-IAC selection as well.

Ben was a problem for St. Mary’s Ryken and was vital in Episcopal’s comeback overtime victory. Made plays with his passing more often in the first half of the game, but turned it up seeking out his shot in half #2. He knew he could get past the defense with his speed, but strategically made his drives to the rim when he knew he had the advantage. Did a great job drawing fouls through the whole 4th quarter and overtime period. Pretty much sealed the deal with his free-throw making in OT. The defense had a hard time staying in front of Edmonds as he was in the paint all game long. Would either finish at the rim or make timely kickouts picking up the ‘hockey’ assist. Drew a big charge late in OT to seal the win, proving to always be one step ahead of the opposition. Lot to like from the sophomore guard.

15p 6a 2r vs St. Andrew’s
-Impactful play out of the Episcopal floor general to win this matchup with St. Andrew’s. Edmonds got it going early with two floaters through contact, hit a snatch back pull up middy from the left wing, and completed a great drive straight down the middle of the lane to engage the helper and drop it off to a big for an easy bucket. Edmonds showed a nice spring in his step on drives to the rim, doing a great job of seeking out and playing through contact at both ends of the floor throughout the night. He got activated defensively towards the end of the 1H after a rough start to the game, forcing a jump-ball on the sidelines by fighting through a pindown and doing a much better job in the 2H of staying in front. Edmonds got away with one but drew a foul with 1.6 left on the clock down 1 and sunk the game-winning FTs, sealing the win for his team on Day 2 of the Sleepy Thompson
