These are prospects that are wired to score - shooters, slashers, three level guys - each of the prospects at this spot excels at putting the ball in the basket in one way or another. It's an impressive group and one that should be fun to watch develop over the next 18 months.

Below, we'll take a look at three of the top ranked Shooting Guards in the class, as well as three more that we'll be keeping our eyes on this summer.

THE TOP 3

The #1 spot belongs to [player_tooltip player_id='2341316' first='Desmond' last='Bellot'], a national stock riser for Expressions Elite. Bellot has good positional size, can operate as a decision maker with the ball in his hands, and is as crafty of a finisher at the rim as there is in this class. He has good burst, can really sit in a stance and guard the ball defensively, and doesn't back down from the moment. He's already on the D1 radar and should only continue to impress over the next few months.

Coming in at #2 is [player_tooltip player_id='2341295' first='Chris' last='Powell'], a big time scorer for City Rocks. Powell is a prototype scoring guard; he's long and lean, can get to his spots of the bounce, and is an effective rhythm shooter. He does a good job of creating space off the bounce, is already a strong finisher in the mid-range, and can really guard when he's locked in on that end. He has the look of a high-major prospect and will have a lot of coaches following him in July and August.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341299' first='Dywane' last='Chess'], who runs with the Middlesex Magic, holds down the #3 spot. A big guard with a physically advanced frame, Chess has really developed his skill and feel for the game this spring. He finishes through contact at the rim, has a clean shot from the perimeter, and is a bully defender that can keep opposing ball handlers out of the paint. He's already impressed this spring and should continue to pop on the radar of college coaches this summer.

3 TO WATCH

The #6 prospect in the rankings belongs to BABC wing, [player_tooltip player_id='2341371' first='Chase' last='Geremia']. A big time shooter that excels at getting into his shots through all different types of actions, Geremia had as strong of a spring season as any prospect. He's all of 6'4", makes great decisions with the basketball, and might be the best perimeter shooter in the class. He's already heard from some impressive D1's and is another prospect that will have a big following this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341408' first='Owen' last='Haglund'], another guard from the Middlesex Magic program, checks in a #11. A big guard with impressive athleticism, Haglund had a nice spring, showcasing himself as a potential scholarship prospect down the line. He has a strong frame, can make plays in ball screens, and does a good job of getting open off the ball as a shooter. His athletic gifts are impressive and he's the type of prospect that could continue to rise in the rankings over the next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2465122' first='Dante' last='Jeremic'], who's headed to CATS Academy in the fall, enters the rankings at #14. Jeremic is a pure scorer that does a great job of elevating into his jumper. He's crafty, has some wiggle off the bounce, and has proven capable of taking a bump and still being able to finish a play. He'll take a jump up in competition level at CATS, but is undoubtedly one of the top scorers in this group and has a chance to showcase that in the coming months.
