We recently updated our 2026 rankings, with over 30 new additions and a total of 105 prospects across the state getting ranked.

Now that we've looked at the new additions and stock risers, it's now time to take a look at the positional rankings. We've broken it down into three different categories in guards, wings and forwards.

Here's a look at part two of the wings rankings, looking at some of the best shooting guards and small forwards in the class.

15) [player_tooltip player_id='2252305' first='Mike' last='Robinson'] | 6'4” SF | South County (#37 Overall)

Robinson has the chance to be a breakout player for South County next year, as he has shown flashes of brilliance and has a ton of natural talent. He fits the mold as someone who will translate to the next level with his prototypical size and athleticism, he's a skilled shot maker who can get to spots off the bounce, he works well off the ball and he has huge upside as a defender too.

14) [player_tooltip player_id='1574509' first='Jayden' last='Brown'] | 6'3” SG | STAB (#36 Overall)

Brown gets overshadowed at STAB which has one of the top backcourts in the entire state, but he's shown steady improvement over the past few years and has had a great summer so far too. He's grown about 5 inches over the past few years and is playing above the rim consistently now, he's improved his shooting ability from deep and he's a lock down defender on the perimeter too.

13) [player_tooltip player_id='1591319' first='Gabriel' last='D'Allesandro'] | 6'3” SG | Miller School (#35 Overall)

D'Allesandro enters this class after transferring to Miller and reclassifying, and he should see his stock soar after doing so as he's already shown a lot of improvement over the years. He's a knock down shooter from deep with a quick release and effortless range, he is an underrated creator off the bounce with a good handle, he makes tough shots in the midrange and he brings toughness to his team as well.

12) Kyren Oglesby | 6'4” SG | Handley (#34 Overall)

Oglesby has been an impact player since he was a freshman at VA Academy, and he's part of a young crew at Handley that will be tough to matchup with in the next few years. He's a big wing who can get downhill and is physical in the paint, he has a great midrange game and works well against the zone, he's a good rebounder and has a lot of upside as a defender too.

11) [player_tooltip player_id='2252296' first='Davion' last='Brown'] | 6'3” SG | Trinity Episcopal (#30 Overall)

Brown has all the potential to be a top 10 player in these rankings, but his best sport isn't basketball as he's a five star football recruit who is getting recruited by the biggest schools in the sport. Brown is a natural athlete with a great frame who can get downhill and punish you at the rim, he plays through contact effortlessly, he can score the ball in a number of ways and when he's challenged he can lock up the best of the best on the perimeter.

10) [player_tooltip player_id='1963394' first='Zaevion' last='Cleveland'] | 6'4” SF | Landstown (#29 Overall)

Cleveland is another player who has recently picked up football and it seems to be going well, as he's one of the most dynamic athletes in the state and should absolutely dominate on the football field similar to how he does on the basketball court. At 6'4” Cleveland is able to guard players in the post with his frame and athleticism, he's an excellent lob threat and is deadly in transition and if he chooses to focus on basketball he has a great base skill set to build upon.

9) [player_tooltip player_id='1782684' first='Isaiah' last='Brown'] | 6'1” SG | Westfield (#27 Overall)

Brown has been very impressive so far in his high school career, and is part of a stacked Westfield 2026 class that is going to be one of the top teams in the state the next two years. While he's a little undersized for his position Brown is an elite shot maker who drills it from deep both off the catch and off the bounce, he gets downhill and knows how to use his body to finish at the rim and he competes on both ends of the floor as well.

8) [player_tooltip player_id='1963530' first='Marcus' last='Hancock'] | 6'3” SG | John Paul the Great (#24 Overall)

Hancock is one of the more unknown impressive prospects in the DMV area, as he had a big coming out party at DMV Live last year and showed that he may be the best shooter in the state bar none. He shot over 54% from deep in six games on a lot of attempts and it translates as he has a quick release and can set his feet on the move, he has effortless range out past the NBA line and he has been rounding his game out as a ball handler and playmaker too.

7) [player_tooltip player_id='1767553' first='Trey' last='Fitch'] | 6'5” SG | Fairfax Christian (#22 Overall)

Fitch is another shooter that we're thinking will have a big year with Fairfax Christian graduating their top players from the past few years, and he has a lot of qualities that translate well to the next level. He's a big off guard at 6'5” with long limbs and a frame that should fill out well, he understands spacing and moves off the ball to get open, he doesn't need a lot of space to knock down shots and he has a great IQ on both ends of the floor.

6) [player_tooltip player_id='1782689' first='Faron' last='Friend'] | 6'5” SG | Glen Allen (#19 Overall)

Friend took one of the biggest jumps in the updated rankings as we had him too low to begin but he also has been showing the past season and this summer he can hoop with the best of them. He passes the eye test with his 6'5” frame and long arms, and on top of that he's a super talented wing who continues to get better and become more consistent as well. His length allows him to challenge shots at the rim and rebound well for his position, he can make tough shots from deep and in the midrange, he's improved in his ability to put it on the deck and create shots and he still has a lot of room to improve moving forward.
