Flavin has left some heads turning already this June. He's done nothing but reinforce my belief that he's one of the toughest players in the state to guard when he has his back to the basket. Flavin is quick and decisive with his post moves and can finish over both shoulders.

This name being on the list isn't surprising at all. Elam is just going to be bigger, faster and stronger this winter and he's put that on display so far this weekend. A great sign for Elam and his Adrian team is that it's actually been his defense that's stood out the most.

Bascom was with his Rockford teammates at Grand Valley State University. I don't have stats for the game, but I don't need them. He passed the eye test with flying colors. Basocom looked comfortable and confident on both ends of the floor. He showed improved athleticism and a nose for the rim.

Gibson looks to be continuing where he left off in a fabulous grassroots season. His team was at the Wayne State Team Camp and will be at the DZone event later as well. Gibson has just been so shifty and athletic all spring plus the start of June. He's putting defenders on his hip and making play after play with the ball.

Perettie is a player that probably deserves more ink. I'm a fan of his game and he was solid at the DZone. I've always liked the way that Perettie plays off a screen and did again over the weekend. He's a high IQ player that reads the action and makes the right decisions with the ball.
