I love Flavin’s game and I’m glad to see his stock rise. He can both find and create space and knows what to do once he hits it. Flavin is a very aware player that can take feeds anywhere and turn them into buckets. He’s very strong and steady with his back to the basket.

I decided to go with another REACH 2026 player here in the last spot. I just can’t leave Flavin off the list. Who doesn’t want to write about an unselfish post player with good feet, soft hands and the ability to pass the ball. Oh yeah, and he can score with his back to the basket or facing the rim. Flavin came pretty close to averaging a points and rebounds double-double at the Prelude League Finals.

Watching Flavin during high school season really got me hooked on this young man’s game. He was super slithery around the rim, showing a knack for finding space and taking advantage of it. Flavin has the chance to be one of the best back to the basket post players in the state.

Flavin has left some heads turning already this June. He’s done nothing but reinforce my belief that he’s one of the toughest players in the state to guard when he has his back to the basket. Flavin is quick and decisive with his post moves and can finish over both shoulders.

Clarkston defeated Rochester 60-39 and Flavin was absolutely outstanding in the game. Next level coaches need to see him play ASAP. Favin showed a knack for finding space under the rim and making himself pass ready. He had really good hands. He was strong on every catch whether a feed at the waist of over the top of the defense. Flavin was really good with his back to the basket and scoring over his left shoulder. He was good on the glass as well, picking up multiple put back buckets.

Flavin is a very high upside post player that could make a ton of noise at City Slam in October. He does a great job putting his work in early and establishing position under the rim for the rebound or with his back to the basket looking for a post feed. Flavin does a good job sealing his defender and creating a path to the rim with a spin move.
