Champagne showed that he’s a 2 way star. He had an athletic block from behind that basically took away a bucket.

Champagne continued to impress on Sunday. All the physical tools are there, and you could see it when he stepped into the gym. But then you watch him play and come away even more impressed. Champagne plays such a smart game. He didn’t force action or try to be a 1-on-1 hero. Instead, Champagne consistently made the right plays.

There aren’t too many, if any, 2029s in the state of Michigan that made more noise this summer than Champagne. His hot streak continued at the Michigan Sophomore ID Camp this past weekend. Standing at a legit 6’5, Brody has a great feel for the game and seems to give his team whatever it needs. If they’re in a drought, he gets a bucket. If they need a stop, he comes away with a defensive rebound in traffic. It’s impressive seeing high-level prospects play solid, team basketball at showcases, and I’m sure Champagne will have a monster sophomore season at Clarkston.
