SCBCA Live Team Camp: Youngsters

Well, it's time to unpack the luggage and start writing up what I saw from the past few days right here. Elijah will also excel on the gridiron with his play. The left-handed Logan was spot on today with his quick high arching release for the Eagles. He connected on several three-pointers. Maison will be one of the several building blocks for this young Eagles team moving forward in the future for Head Coach Alex Simmons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2469363' first='Zayvion' last='Harris'] </strong>- North Augusta HS</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Harris really plays the game with a good mindset already for a young age. He never seems to leave the floor for the Yellow Jackets and Head Coach Tony Harrell. Harris was constantly in command while on the floor and dropping dimes all over the place. He really understands on how to set up his teammates. Jermier understood distributing the ball to the open man and running the offense. He was able to leak out at times in transition and convert some open looks. He fits in well with this already talented bunch. CJ can just be himself and contribute anyway needed for the success of his team. He was able to alter and challenge shots on the defensive end and collect rebounds on both sides of the court. Raymond plays down in the paint for the Diamonds. He was able to finish with his back to the basket and show a nice drop-step move along the way. He posted up on the block at times and was able to show some nice footwork around the paint area. Jones was active around the block area and did a nice job of rebounding the ball outside of his area. Antoine has great length and the ability to play all over the perimeter. He played last season as an 8th grader with Southside Christian. Syncere has a knack to score the ball. He was leaking out at times today in transition for cheapies. Brayson collected every rebound it seemed today on both ends of the court. He does a nice job of keeping the ball high when collecting it off the glass. Brayson has soft hands to catch anything in his direction. Schofield finished through contact here today and was able to step-out for some short jumpers along the way. He will be a nice addition to the Eagles roster this season for Head Coach Keith Parks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2373169' first='JaBron' last='McFadden']</strong> - Wilson HS (Florence)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McFadden is an undersized post currently for the Tigers. Sullivan is being uses as a post player here for the Warriors. Jovani will be a 8th grader this season coming season for the Falcons. He rebounds the well on both ends of the floor for his age.
