New Coaches in New Places:
Carlos Powell now at Gray Collegiate – was previously at Wilson HS. He replaces Dion Bethea who moved onto Georgia Southern University as a assistant coach.
Yusuf English takes over at Wilson HS. English has previously coached at Hartsville HS and Denmark-Olar HS in the past.
Chasen Redd is now assistant coach at Aiken HS. Redd is the former girl’s basketball coach at Silver Bluff HS.
Tre McLean now takes over at West Ashley HS. McLean played his high school ball for the Wildcats.
Jay Fitts is the new head coach at Travelers Rest HS.
Marshall Cabbagestalk jumps over to the boy’s side and will coach the Knights at Stratford HS.
Jason Harris is no longer the Head Coach at Atlantic Collegiate Academy. Harris recently took a job at East Carolina University on the women’s side.
Herbert Hunter is the new head coach at South Florence HS. Hunter previously coached at Eau Claire HS.
Tim Butler is the new head coach at Fox Creek HS. Butler replaces Andrew Peckham who went on to be the Athletic Director at River Bluff HS.
Longtime Assistant Coach Alex Quillen takes over the reins at Irmo HS for Tim Whipple who retired this spring.

Realignments – All Last Years State Champions:
Christ Church Won the Class 1A State Championship and have moved up to Class 3A this coming fall.
Gray Collegiate Won the Class 2A State Championship will now play in Class 4A this coming season.
Powdersville HS Won the Class 3A State Championship and return a strong nucleus back. Christ Church will join the Patriots this season in the region.
Ridge View Won the Class 4A State Championship last season. The Blazers will make the move up to Class 5A this season.
Lexington HS Won the Class 5A State Championship last season.
