The [program_tooltip program_id='2222672' first='Sanford' last='Sports Academy'] Who's Next Combine took place on Sunday, June 23rd in Sioux Falls, SD. There was a lineup of skill work and testing, but the focus of the article is the 5-on-5. The prospects really showcased their offensive skill sets and some played at a very high level. Some guys got really hot and went on playmaking streaks, where they either scored or were making passes for scores.

This is a quick-hitter after watching the 5-on-5 once. The plan is to observe another round and bring a more detailed part two. Here's part one from the Who's Next Combine.

[player_tooltip player_id='1625082' first='Austin' last='Terveen'] put on an offensive clinic of scoring the ball and making shots. He was launching from deep and hitting step-backs. He recently picked up an offer from NAIA Briar Cliff University.

[player_tooltip player_id='1641478' first='Stellen' last='Larson'] was one of the top three-point shooting performers at the event. He was easily getting his shot off and showed consistent shooting mechanics and shot-making. He's poised for a solid breakout on the varsity scene for Harrisburg.

[player_tooltip player_id='1641163' first='Teegan' last='Musser'] came into the event with a 6'5” listing and he looked long. He was moving well and showed an offensive punch going to the hoop. He hit some threes as well. Stock is trending up.

[player_tooltip player_id='2137320' first='Deondre' last='Painter'] was one of the most impressive and impactful prospects. We've talked about his improved shot, and he showed that to be true at the Who's Next Combine. He was playing fast and pulling up and making shots consistently. He shared the ball as well and got his teammates open shots. Translates to a big point guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='1929459' first='Trey' last='Hansen'] is now at the 6'4” mark and he looks it, too. His stock is improving with his size and aggressive offensive game. Scored with length at the hoop and has range from deep. A great feel for the game and was a playmaking passer. Really like him.

I think D2's grow fond of [player_tooltip player_id='2249344' first='Carter' last='Craven']. He's very long at 6'5” and is showing some surprising offensive capabilities. A slow delivery on his shot from three, but they seem to be doing down for makes. Scores with length in the paint.

The youngster from Sioux Valley, [player_tooltip player_id='2430313' first='Brady' last='Hiltunen'], can shoot the three. Knockdown if he's left open.

[player_tooltip player_id='2078157' first='Aiden' last='Hanssen'] does not have the size, but he sort of took over in parts of the game. Getting into the lane quite easily.

I think [player_tooltip player_id='1506292' first='Trevon' last='Beckman'] can play at the next level. He's an NAIA guy, but he can score the rock and shoot the three at a high clip. A quick shot with range. One of the most competitive prospects at the event. Plays hard and with focus and intensity.

[player_tooltip player_id='2238341' first='Kyler' last='Carlson'] is another prospect that cannot be left open at the three-point line. Made multiple shots from deep.

[player_tooltip player_id='1342103' first='Ryan' last='Heinert'] can straight hoop. Love his skill set and what he's able to do at a consistent level. Everyone know he's a top 3 three-point shooter in the state, but his passing ability is top-notch as well. Can make many passes that even fairly skilled guards can't make. Would like to see him buckle down more, defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2059565' first='Boden' last='Stevenson'] of Hamlin rose his stock in a big way. He was aggressive and was scoring in many fashions. He may be a top 10 prospect in the 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1467167' first='Carson' last='Nickles'] can get hot from three, and he did. The lefty guard is one of the top three-point shooters in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1390319' first='Britton' last='Mulder'] kind of did whatever he wanted on the court and did some nice scoring. His ability to attack and finish stood out.
