The 19-1 St. Mary’s are the #1 seed in Region 3B and are set to matchup with #7 Sioux Falls Lutheran on March 7th, after their game being postponed. Individually, Beckman has been one of the top scorers and three-point shooters in the state, also while stuffing the stat sheet in multiple other stat categories. A very good rebounder for a guard, with his impressive vertical. Beckman moved up one spot from #10 to now the #9 ranked prospect in the SD 2025 class.

Beckman is blowing up in his Senior season for Dell Rapids St. Mary and recently hit 1,000 career points. He’s springy and athletic, to go along with being an absolute sniper from three that can create his own shot. His dribble-drive game is prominent as well, where he can absorb contact and hang in the air. He put in a 42-point performance and has per game averages of 26 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals.

We know that Trevon is a top three-point shooter in the state. Another thing that stood out to me from him is that he looks extremely athletic and can jump out of the gym. He can hang in the air, and his verticality translates to him being a great rebounding guard. Beckman finished with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists.

He’s also skilled offensively and one of the most deadly three-point weapons in the state. His two-way ability makes him a well-rounded prospect that deserves next-level attention.

Beckman is another legitimate three-point threat. Has a near picture-perfect release that is quick and with range. He showed the ability to handle the point some and make quick decisions with the ball, with quick, crisp passes. Competes defensively as well and will deny the ball at times. His defensive effort is clearly seen.
