Heinert makes a big leap up the rankings board and is now in the top 10. I think he translates beautifully to the next level with his three-point ability and 6’3” size. He’s one of the top 2-3 shooters in the state. He will pull his three from anywhere, and he’s normally on target. Has a quick release and can get up his shot whenever he’d like. He’s with TEAM Warwick this offseason, and he’s showing playmaking as a passer and showing how well he sees the floor. Great at setting up his teammates for open shots and scoring opportunities.

I was curious as to how Heinert would play and approach the game, offensively. Would he be passive with studs around him? But he scored 19 ppg. in the highest class in South Dakota for a reason. Because he’s naturally an aggressive player and shooter from three. He’s looking to launch if given space. And he’s consistently on target, and will be one of the more prolific three-point shooters this offseason. Loved his confidence and aggression in Omaha. Also, sees the floor really well and can pass the ball better than average.

Heinert can absolutely stroke it from deep and he showed that at Fargo. The 2nd team all-stater showed he can shoot the three off the catch or pull-up off the dribble from range. I thought he saw the floor really well as well.
