Craven is one of South Dakota’s elite rebounders, a relentless force with a knack for tracking down boards. After an impressive run with SSA Black, he’s ready for a HUGE high school season. Carter plays with a high motor, scores inside & out, and knocks down threes. This Warrior is a top-notch free-throw shooter who brings toughness and a winning presence to the floor.

I think Craven plays well and he’ll play extremely hard. The D2 offers are going to be coming. Especially after he goes punch for punch with D1 size and length both on the perimeter and in the paint.

I had thoughts of moving Carter into the #2 spot and it was tough not to. Him and Mebius are both deadeven, with Mebius being a point guard and Carter the long wing with an insane motor. Regardless, even if Craven stayed at #3, his stock is still most definitely up in the eyes of college coaches. He proved his perimeter skills and 3-point game at Battle At The Lakes. If you want a versatile wing with length, then

I had just mentioned Craven and given an evaluation on him, but what I really liked about his overall performance was how hard he played and how strong and tough he played against opponents trying to get physical with him. I kind of knew he played like that, but it was quite more noticeable up close and live.

I happened to catch Craven pour in 39 points and nail 7 threes. He experienced high usage and high productivity. He was able to show off a clean handle on the ball with some creative and advanced moves against pressure and in the open court scenario. Created his own three and showed nice range from three in a set-and-shoot. He was highly active and busy on the boards. He was taking on contact and dishing it out as well. He played mean and showed an edge.

Judging off of the highlights he posted, Craven had a massive tournament at the Scheels Prospect tournament. The big debate is whether he can be a promising 3-point shooter.
