Lead all scorers tonight with 22 points, attacked the basket relentlessly and was able get by his defender almost at will at times it seemed. Didn’t shoot the best tonight but made 8 of 11 free throws, scorers find ways to put up points and thats what he did tonight. Crafty ball handler and does a nice job of keeping defender off balance with good change of pace. Great finisher with either hand at the basket.

I really like this kids game. He’s got the green light once he passes the timeline. Trey plays really low and point guard like when he’s in attack mode, and can find his way to the rim through 1 or 2 defenders. His finish is strong with both hands and under contact. He plays with great pace and can hit a pull up mid range with a hand in his face. I expect Hansen to put some of the top numbers in the state this season.

Elite handles for a 6’4 guard. Trey gets to the rim and absorbs contact and finish’s with ease. His deep ball is a beautiful high arching shot with soft touch. Hansen’s bag is vast, with his ability to hit the step back, side step, and floater down the lane. Trey will have some monster games this season for the Tanagers.

I have always been a fan of Hansen’s game. He is a rockstar at getting to the FT-line. It might not happen as much in club basketball because of the way games are called, but in high school hoops, he lives at the charity stripe. A fitting nickname for Trey could be “The Stripe Sniper”. I really like his length, handles, separation ability, craftiness in the paint, L-hand finishing. Does he buckle down on defense and can he get shots off against quick athletes?
