I attended the annual Pangos All American Camp held by Dinos Trigonis at Bishop Gorman/NV.

A long standing top camp event which was elevated to NBA Personnel status checking out the action for 3 days. I sat with multiple NBA scouts talking players and the upcoming June draft. The personnel were impressed with the size and guard play of the 100+ or so campers.

Here were the AZ Standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='1485542' first='Davis' last='Fogle'] AZ Compass (Pictured)

A long wing forward can score with off the dribble or catch threes and has an endless motor to rebound the ball despite his leaner frame. He collects steals, makes good reads to teammates with his advance court vision for position and will throw it down way above the rim on the break. He also blocks shots out of his area.

[player_tooltip player_id='1449361' first='Caspian' last='Jones'] St. Mary's

A very strong forward who can play and defend both spots. He will drive the lane using his sturdy frame and dunk it or score thru the contact. He is very patient and he was not hunting for points. He let the game come to in and shined in stretches. He hits the three off the catch, moves without the ball and crashes the glass out of his area for boards. What also stood out was his passing and timing of them. He should have a huge senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595670' first='Ikenna' last='Alozie'] Dream City Christian

A wildly athletic CG had many good reads to teammates on the three days. He scores with powerful dunks, mid range pull-ups with high elevation, downhill tough drives, offensive rebound put backs and catch threes. He collects steals, blocks out of his area and plays with speed and athleticism that most don't have in the country.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150822' first='Cameron' last='Holmes'] Millennium

A bigger wing defender is a true connector and facilitates as well as many lead guards. He will hit the three off the catch (one was a game winner), rise up from mid-range off the dribble and score on offensive rebound put backs or alley oop dunks. His defense on the ball and off of it is impressive. It is getting harder to score on him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150824' first='Kaden' last='House'] AZ Compass Prep

A talented scoring lead guard makes every read there is with slip and pocket passes, dump offs and drive and kicks. He will score with threes off the dribble, step backs from mid to the three and blow by layups and will take a bump to score. He is a true competitor and has a nose for the ball on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1464982' first='Miles' last='Sadler'] Bella Vista Prep

Arguably the top pure PG at the event. He controlled every game he played in and earned a top-30 spot because of it. His timing on his passes are next level stuff. He scores with the catch threes, speed dribbles, floaters and makes many off balanced shots. He gets into the teeth of the defense and does a hard jump stop pivot and will wait for the defense to make their move and float it in with next level footwork.

[player_tooltip player_id='1630633' first='Maper' last='Maker'] Hillcrest Prep

The big man is one of the more fluid centers in the country. Standing a legit 7-feet, he is very light on his toes which allows him to move gracefully from end to end and defend ball handlers in space. He will take the ball off the glass and go coast to coast and dunk it. He can shoot it from mid-range with pull-ups and hit the catch three. The main reason you like him is his ability to block shots better than most.

[player_tooltip player_id='1580233' first='Paul' last='Osaruyi'] Bella Vista Prep

A huge power forward with long arms, a strong frame and college level athleticism. He scores with occasional threes, left or right hand hook shots, mid-range jumpers and cleans the glass on both ends of the court. He is a twitchy athlete with explosive quick dunks. He backed up his high status and made the Top-30 All Star Game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150823' first='Kalek' last='House'] AZ Compass Prep

A true combo guard who can score or make plays. He played a lot on the ball and had many drive and kicks and perfect passes showing his next level passing all weekend long. He is a big time on-ball defender and had some tough drives in the lane thru contact. He hit a bunch of perimeter jumpers off the catch and/or dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='1366003' first='Jaden' last='Vance'] Bella Vista Prep

A bigger wing can score from all levels. He hits catch threes, he has high level mid-range pull-ups off the dribble and can take a few strides and throw it down. He grabs out of area rebounds and will block a shot. He is leaner but defends multiple positions with his size, length and athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411646' first='Ifaola' last='Fawaz Tacko'] Dream City Christian

A big post players with strength. He dunks the ball with his size, power and length. He will score on drop steps, offensive rebound put backs, tap ins, layups, euro steps and power dunks. He runs well from end to end and moves his feet impressively on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1051824' first='Robert' last='Moore'] AZ Compass Prep

A tall wing with a high skill level. He showed off opening night and hit six threes mostly off the catch but he dribbled into a couple on the break. He can take one or two dribbles and rise up from mid-range and make tough fall aways or from mid-range. He is a sneaky good passer and he can easily flush it down on the break.
